Don't think anyone said that. It just triggers those already predisposed with medical illnesses. Aswell as causing long term apathay.
WHY IS MARIJUANA STILL NOT LEGAL?!!!!!!!

You're right, personal experience does help and prove a point but it has to be backed up with studies and other claims with facts. Qualitative research has it own pros and criticisms.

The articles you cited explicitly claimed that
Okay and marijuana doesn't necessarily cause mental illnesses.. don't really understand your point.
Why are you even responding to me.. I thought you were above and beyond all this lol

So in essence, you don't completely agree with the articles yet you expect me to accept them as concrete evidence?
Right..

I gave you a source showing marijuana doesn't cause cancer, and also another source saying why tobacco would and cannabis wouldn't, yet you still are saying it causes cancer, its all the same. And by show me it causes cancer I meant show me a case which has been linked back to cannabis use.
If this isn't being to immature to hold debates I am not sure what is "No I expect you to realise you're wrong. If you can't, then it shows that you're just too immature to hold debates." That's not holding a debate, that's just a complete lack of ability to accept you are wrong.

Can't remember whether I already said this but..
Spending any amount of time in UV light can cause skin cancer. Fact. Should we ban people from going outside?
I think I've already posted that, but I can't remember whether it was just a thought.

The medical benefits of going outside far outweigh the bad. Even tanning beds have their benefit with SAD, though I do not agree with their use by any means.

Marijuana doesn't cause cancer. At all. The paper you roll it in has potential to cause cancer, but there has never been a case where such has happened.
In fact, marijuana is prescribed to treat cancer. It has proven effects to inhibit the development of tumors and the symptoms of cancer.
You can't just eat marijuana and get high, the thc doesn't get released through injestion. You can however cook it in some kind of fat, and the fat will asborb it, pretty well.
And not everyone smokes weed. Many people eat magic brownies, fire crackers, etc.. even tea. And you can of course vaporize, which is my favorite method of smoking. And these methods are universal in Amsterdam, where mj is legal.
I can even argue that marijuana is almost always smoked in the U.S. just because the government has made it illegal and criminalized it so.. You can't really find a lot of places to stick your vaporizer into an outlet and smoke or cook brownies. If it were legal, stores would sell injestable marijuana and vaporizes would be more readily available.
I actually admitted to being wrong before. I never realized a correlation had ever been found, but there has been.
Rather, my argument was that this correlation didn't mean shit.
But moreover, I'm only bringing this up because you can't provide a source you don't even agree with and then go on contradicting yourself.
And all you can do is throw slanderous name-calling when you're proven wrong. That or denounce someone as unable to debate correctly and go on to ignore their sound arguments. Even Kitsune has attempted to debate properly early on in the debate. Ironically, the only one that can't debate in this entire thread is you.
In the U.S. it definitely is a social thing to smoke a joint/blunt in a circle.. but I realized that eating weed can definitely be a social thing if it were legal. There's cafes in Amsterdam that sell foods like these and people just go there to chill. There's nothing more social then eating and getting high together

Well, they do somewhat sell pill THC, its called Marinol. Less bioavailable to the body, and the "high" it gives you is not as comfortable or as good as inhalation apparently, so your point is still valid even though factually semi-wrong. Also I believe it's really expensive, but not 100% on that.

When I went to Dam people were just buying brownies and shit as a little extra. I know for a fact that when I was there, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as fun just eating than it was to sit and chill with a few joints and a hookah

That has almost nothing to do with my argument. I apologize, you're absolutely right.. it's not necessarily legal, you just won't get in trouble for it. What's the difference in being legal or being illegal yet not enforced? Nothing.
Again, trying to denounce my arguments with irrelevant matters.

It's "semi-legal", and to act like it's as illegal as the US is just dumb. It seems you're trying to just "pwn" people in this debate

True. When I was there, I walked outside of my hotel and saw a man ask the cops for a lighter before lighting up a joint infront of them and walking off. I think now though it's illegal for foreign people to smoke on the streets there, you have to actually live in Amsterdam. Although it's still not likely it's going to be enforced.

Yeah, smoking weed is definitely embedded into our culture.. I do agree that it's much funner even more enjoyable.. When I vaporize, I definitely just want to smoke a thick blunt afterwards lol.
But at the same time, if other options of consumption were more available, mj would definitely be smoked less.
Yeah I think the U.S. government can technically trial you, even if you smoked in amsterdam. That's probably only in cases of DUIs and other criminal incidences involving marijuana though.
