Hard to believe the first polls to the election are closing soon. Also hard to believe in general this election is finally over. Feels like it's been going for about 2 years. tongue.gif I'm pulling for Obama but whoever wins, it should be an interesting night nonetheless. I would have definitely voted, but RAWR at age restrictions. I was born in the wrong year. sad.gif

So what did you think of the election as a whole? Who did you vote for or are hoping to win? Also just talk about the election in general, since this will probably be the last election thread. tongue.gif

Kids have been waiting on line for 2-3 hours lol.
I'm gonna go 10 minutes before you can get in but if the lines too long, I just can't afford to waste time with midterms tomorrow.....

You'd think they'd make midterm dates a bit later/earlier than the day after elections...

Well CNN projects that Obama won Vermont and McCain won Kentucky. Both really aren't surprising. tongue.gif So as of right now, it's McCain - 8 and Obama - 3. Still a hell of a lot of polls to close though. tongue.gif

yea im hoping obama wins but im also looking at the reports of the electronic voting messing up in key states id say if mccain wins it had to be fixed and there should be a revote based on the fact some the electronic voting was compromised bye software or other failures

McCain just won South Carolina so it's 16 to 3. A lot of polls are closing in a minute though, so that number should change. tongue.gif

McCain's technically losing here ATM - only ~5% of Precincts are reporting, but Obama has a couple thousand more votes so far. It'd be odd to see SC blue o.o

It's 55 to 44% rright now, for Obama.

A whole shitload of states were just projected. It's Obama - 77, and McCain - 34.

Yes I know. CNN is just rather good at projecting. Obviously none of these will be final until tomorrow. tongue.gif
