I'm trying to install windows on another harddrive in my laptop, but I get an error "No boot sector on disk" when trying to boot from the CD. How do I add a boot sector or fix this error?

Have you changed the boot order in BIOS to CD first?

yah. i also tried using the one time boot order menu and selected the cd, still no dice
