Hey everyone. This may be a bit long bit I hope you all have the time to read it.

Well what happened is that I had my prom 2 nights ago. I was very fun and my date made my night. smile.gif It was during the prom that I felt that I may actually like this girl. During the prom, I gently grab her hand and we interlace our fingers to show that I care for her. She responds and it seems like she does not mind. While the night went on, I started to gently stroke her legs just above her knees. She once again did not mind. After that we wanted to rest on my shoulder and hold hands, etc. So everything was fine, I was enjoying it and it seemed she was enjoying it. When she left to the washroom, one of her best friends, who was sitting at our table with her date, asked me randomly if I was going to kiss her tonight. I didn’t say anything and then she said I should. The night went on with the same thing we danced, we took a walk, and we took pictures together and with each other.

Once the prom was over and we were on the bus ride home (we all had to take bus transportation ), I put my arm around her and she once again started to rest on my shoulder. We held hands; she stroked my fingers with her thumb. I took my other hand and starting stroking it up and down her arm and just across her neck and I gently touched her chin, cheeks and bottom lip. She was fine, we didn’t say anything. I guess you could say we were talking with our bodies’ ahaha. Now, we get back, and we watch a graduation DVD. Once that was finished we went to her locker, she got new shoes because hew high heels were hurting. We stood up and I said that I saved this for last minute and I kissed her. She really seemed to like it and she immediately put her arm around me. We walked out, and we hung out with friends. After people were starting to leave, we went to some couches in the school sat down. Starting holding hands and stuff and she laid on my shoulder. I kissed her again for a little longer and she didn’t mind it. It was almost as if she wanted it. We walk outside because the admins of the school had to lock up. We go to the front of the school and I kiss her for much longer once again. Her parents arrive and I’m happy, she was happy and the night was over.

The next morning I woke up and couldn’t stop thinking about her and how fun the prom was with her. I was being stupid because u do stupid things when u like another girl and I go on facebook and tell her I love her more then she knows and that I can’t stop thinking about her. I also apologized in the message if I had gone to fast for her. She replied later that day and said that there was no need to apologize and that we did sort of rush into things but she didn’t mind a great deal. She said that we can hang out soon and she listed some dates when she was free. I said next Saturday at the movies would be great. Further down the message she included that she was flattered that I loved her and that she really likes me too, but she doesn't think we're ready to say that. She said that if I want to say it, that she is fine with it but that I need to understand that she doesn't believe in it and that she probably won't for a very long time.

This is where I am confused... I am unsure if she feels the same way towards me. At the prom it seemed like she actually wanted something to go on. She went for my hand sometimes and stroked my legs too and all that. Her friend told me straight out to kiss her as if she really likes me. But the message she sent, or the ending of it anyways seems like she feels a whole different way. It all I have been thinking about lately and I'm unsure if I should be waiting around for something. Do you all think it could happen? I’m graduating and she is in grade 11 so she still has one more year of high school to go. I don't know I like this girl so much. I can't ask her out though because we are both taking hard courses in this semester and we just wouldn’t have time for each other and we know that. On MSN she said that we can't be friends with benefits or anything and just simple friends. Does that mean that the one night we had together at prom will most likely be the only thing between us? Do you guys think she likes me even after what she said? What advice do you all have to give me?

You used the L word the first night you kissed a girl? That wasn't smart.

You never tell a girl how you feel early on in the relationship/whatever you're doing.
    ever.

i found that out when i was like 13.
    lol.

your lucky theres actually attraction between you and it didn't backfire.

if you tell a girl you have feelings for her, and she doesnt feel the same/anywhere near the same
it blows up in your face and ruins any chance you have

'Love' is the L word. And the L word, like they said, is never to be said so early in a relationship.

Some of these things take a little bit of experience I guess. Stuff randomly happens, then bad stuff happens that ruins it, and then you learn. biggrin.gif

It seems like you guys like each other by what you said about prom. I think anything else is over-thinking it, and you should just enjoy what you have now and worry about the rest later. You graduating and her still having one more year is a problem, but if you guys like each other just go with that. Just know that it might not work out considering the circumstances, but you never know as well.

As for you saying you love her, well that wasn't a very smart move considering you guys aren't even in a relationship, but if she said she's okay with it and she wants to hang out with you again then brush it off and just don't say it again.

This isn't meant to be offensive, but is this the first girl you've ever kissed or liked?

She said in the message that she really likes you. So she probably likes you. She gave you a list of times she'd be free to see you. So she probably wants to see you. But you've already said you can't ask her out. So the whole situation is completely redundant.

So, either ask her out or get over it. tongue.gif

    oh ok.

Also the reason I cant ask her out is cause we both busy with school work. Plus she has another year of high school.

Your point there being? I started seeing my Boy not long before he finished school and I had a year left and I'm marrying him rather soon so that's no reason at all.

Worst comes to worst, it doesn't work out and you've had a nice couple of months instaed of wondering what could have happened...

I think I said a few times that this isnt an option right now because of how busy we are. My semester is loaded and I would never have any time to take her out.

Don't just jump into it like that dude. You don't have to instantly get into the whole "Shit, will this last forever? Will it end? I love this girl she's my life what will I do?" stuff. She obviously enjoyed it, just enjoy it with her and let it grow into something more. Especially with what she was saying about the word love. Saying that though, don't take it TOO slow. Keep the spark there and build on it, otherwise you'll become friends and she'll find someone else.
