A lot of people say that that Street Fighter movie sucked. I thought it was pretty good . Maybe I just like Street Fighter too much . Was my first fighting game .Will it be better than Street Fighter? We can only hope...
I'm really just waiting for a Legend of Zelda movie. IGN made a trailer but it was an April Fool's joke . I believed it .

For now... all we have to go with is The Legend of Neil
...and while we're on the topic of video games getting turned into movies, how did Doom get done before The Legend of Zelda? Fuck that.

...It is hard to make the cool fighting moves from Tekken. It's going to be quite boring really.
I agree.
Did you just agree with yourself?
I've done this once before as well .

Someone's never been on the Neoboards. The Neoboards accept the quote BBCode, but it is not easily accessible for those who do not know of its existence.
So usually you just copy and paste whatever you're quoting. Difficult to read, to say the least.

Besides, stories that may seem tolerable or fun in games, might not transfer too well on the big screen. Unless of course, they're planning to stay as close to reality as possible and tone down on a lot of the fantasy aspects, at which point, the fans of the game will probably not be pleased.

Movies of games always fail, story-wise at least.
Advent Children? Obviously I disagree with your statement.

Probably thinking of live-action movies rather than CGI movies.Advent Children? Obviously I disagree with your statement.
Though, Prince of Persia seems promising, but I never really cared for that series.

I could really go for a Shadow of the Colossus movie. That would make my summer.

If Tekken suceeds, we can expect to see Fatal Fury, KoFs, Soul Calibur coming up. Very soon.
At least DoA has already been done so we don't have to revisit that atrocity.

When they made DoA, I thought they're doing the beach volleyball

Bahaha, a movie about big breasted volleyball players? That would be popular with the horny people but not much else. When they made DoA, I thought they're doing the beach volleyball

They did the beach volleyball... but they really should have just eliminated the rest of the crap and accepted that the movie was just live-action fan service. I just checked the IMDB page. They have 13 images from the movie, and 12 of them feature female eye candy. That certainly makes a statement about the movie, IMO.

I was referring to the live-action movies of games. Never really watched the animation type.
