I need help as this is my second account that's been frozen. These are my settings:

4.9 - 7.5 Refresh time
.3 - .7 Pre-haggle [I think that's what this option is called]
Default OCR

Stores restocked at: 58 [Stamp Shop], 98 [Plushie Palace], 73 [Kayala's potions]

I would have to restock in three - four hour cycles depending on the day, so example would be for this previous week:

Monday Wednesday Friday - 2:00 - 5:00, 7:00 - 9:00
Tuesday Friday - 4:00 - 7:00, 9:00 - 11:00

At the end of the day, I would catch at least ~20 items, net profit a day would probably be ~150,000 and maybe a few unbuyables.

Things i've noticed, since this morning AB was working fine and this afternoon AB was fine, but when TNT sent out Mystery Picture prizes, thats when I was frozen. Or is it because I spend too many hours restocking in those places at bad refresh times, etc.? Other than that, I don't know how they caught me this time :(. I was fine for about a week, I guess maybe because I switched to Stamp Shop recently (2 days ago)?

Ask more questions for more details, or help me figure it out! I'm sure it is not just 'random' freezing as this is my second account frozen, and my other accounts are fine.

Is that the only program you've used on that account? Did you get any particularly high profit items?

The refresh times and pre-haggle seem pretty low to me so it could be that you've been getting buys which have been a bit too quick, especially if you're located in the US.

Yes - that is the only program i've used on that account. I don't think its the quick buys because it would buy it from .7 - 1.4 or something like that which is default, the thing i changed i think was when you load the haggle page? I guess it is pretty quick... but if that's the case I would of been frozen of that a long time ago and frozen on my other accounts no?

I personally AB for about 10 hours a day or more so I doubt that it is the length of time...unless you are doing several hours in one shop.

Your refresh times are too close together. The problem with your refresh times is that what are the chances that you were restocking for several hours straight and in that entire time you managed to keep your refresh times to within a 3 second range?

Also, like Laser said, your pre haggle time is possibly too fast. The shops you have chosen are all potentially dangerous as well....especially Stamp.

So what would be a suggestion be for refresh times and pre-haggle times? I guess it's too close together, but I feel like they would of caught all of my other accounts if that was the case. The last time I was frozen was because I was restocking in the bakery, now i'm assuming this time it's because of stamp shop.

so longer refresh times and longer pre-haggle times... suggestion?

I agree with this ^. I stay away from Stamps, Magic, and Spooky. Those seem to be higher risk shops to AB in. :[

True, but in chat people are saying they are getting away with it, so i'm confused on what i'm doing incorrectly.

Odd because i've restocked in Spooky alot and I have yet to be frozen. Magic I will stay away from, Stamps I thought alot of AB-users go to?

Well I haven't been iced for about 3 years now and that's included regular autobuying with stints of 6 hours+ quite often. I put it down to slowish buys, slowish refreshes, good choice of shop and not focusing on unbuyable items. If you're in the US you need to increase your buy pausing more than non-US people just because of the difference with speed to the Neopets server.

I thought you were frozen though? I'm not saying that's why you are frozen, and I really can't tell you what you're doing incorrectly. All I am saying is I've stayed away from any higher-risk shops to prevent myself from being caught so easily. Just stay in shops with lower profit margins, don't run your ABer on times that would seem impossible, and good luck. I hope you don't get frozen any more. :[

If you need some starting NPs by the way, I'd be happy to lend you 50k or so if you need it.

Maybe throw a few more shops into the cycle to vary it up a bit, and bump up your refresh times by a few seconds or more. Its the least you can do, assuming these were the reasons to cause your account to get iced.

I guess I don't see how slow I can get to catch items though -- so what numbers do you suggest to put in?

It's odd though because spooky food I have never been frozen for, it's always another shop. I started in Stamp because I discovered many other people restock in Stamp too -- and I thought average times to restock for were about 3 hours and I was SURE to make it humanish by taking an hour break or two, three, four hour breaks in between. In the evenings though I personally watch the ABer and it's constantly missing items in the stamp shop, I would only catch about 4-5 stamps an hour. I dunno, every shop is potential high-risk, but i think there's just a common mistake i'm making that when I rebuild that account I don't want to repeat the same mistake.

Well I'd probably aim for 2-3 second buys, with my connection it usually takes like 1.5secs to load a neopets page anyway so I add a 1 sec pause in there too. I mostly go for lower profit items so that pause is fine for my needs.

I feel like this would be weird though because wouldn't that be odd to randomly throw in say... 3-4 more shops, I thought its more automatic looking if you suddenly restock all these valuable items from different shops?

Usually I actually get about 80-90% success rate, it all depends on the items which you're going for and the popularity of the shop which you're in.

So for specific shops though, I guess it means that in order to restock in "high-risk" shops I have to cut it down to an hour at a time? Because I don't know what shops you're going for... not sure what "low-risk" shops are :(

Thats a good point, But look at the ratio of non-advanced members getting frozen to advanced members. They're forced to spend time even in the most random and unprofitable shops, but its not like that raised suspicion.

if your constantly going for all the high rr items, you also look like an ABer to TNT.. Just think...manual people RSing don't refresh and hit every single RS....They miss quite a bit.

With your times..Your probably hitting and going for almost every RS.... so even though your missing the items..you still look too perfect to their system.

I find that so odd because you're getting a bunch of random, profitable items and there's no way you could memorize / know those items in the shop are profitable. When I restocked legitly I knew the bakery like the back of my hand I made about 100k a day and unbuyables and I never got frozen... so thats what I find me being frozen right now was weird.

Shops like Food, Books, Bakery and Chocolate are ones which have plenty of lower profit, relatively easy to sell items and so don't need you to be uber quick to get items. So rather than getting a couple of unbuyables in the harder shops you can just get lots of lower profit items in those shops.

Try throwing in food, chocolate, and/or bakery. Do you remember approximately how long you waited to refresh when you restocked legit? I would assume faster than 7 but varied, so it might just have to do with the shops your in.

4.9s to 7.5s is very very short. Personally I use 8 to 30 and I have no problems getting UBs.

You looked like you where a bot thats all.

Did you do lots of other stuff on this account? did you play games/feed your pet/train/do dailies? The more other things you do, the less they suspect you. An account that only restocks is an automatic freeze.

TNT doesnt have any way of proving someone was using an ABer save for really stupid stuff (No pauses, 24 hour restocking, etc)

I already explained to you their method of freezing :p

Hard luck but I guess you can make good use of the NPGen and SS 10times to give you another headstart.

I think they have a certain way though. I want to find out if people have been frozen at certain times. For me, twice, it's been when they've given out mystery picture items. I've done these times in Spooky food I'm just thinking it's a time-issue maybe? :o

What store do you AB at though? High-traffic or low?
