I suggest making the legit site absolute top priority until it's running comfortably.

What services did their site provide? Just wondering what we should prioritize specifically. We need to get our version online as soon as humanly possible.

Avatars and how you get them. The site gave detailed information on how to get each and every avatar on Neopets.

If we have a legit section will it be seperate from this section? If not wouldn't that be very dangerous and/or troublesome?
I was thinking of those like Aurora/Neocodexdestroyer. They may make our life a living hell here.

The site is still up so you can check it out. One feature I know I liked is that I could check off what avatars I had and then search for users who had done the same and we could compare avatars to see who had what and you could find out what easy avatars you might be missing that the other person has. Cool stuff like that. What services did their site provide? Just wondering what we should prioritize specifically.

That's a piece of cake to make. I might have to finish the autobidder, say screw my other projects for now, and construct this. The site is still up so you can check it out. We're still trying to iron this out as it was supposed to be a long-term plan (> 1 year from now).

If you need help with any trivial work like copying over and over again, I be happy to lend a hand

Plus, it'd be high-larious to see them trying to figure out how some users have priced so many items. XD

Obviously, the database would be sharedIt would be awesome if the item database on the legit site used our statistics and also let users over there input their own data by hand.

Why on earth would it be wasted?

really! why is closing?
Official reason: "Our poor server is working overtime and could use a well-rewarded break."...so "our site will be closing soon to go on an extended hiatus"...

I think that'd be totally Boss if NeoCodex got an avatar site, but of course that'd take a lot of work (and I would have no clue how to do it...)
Maybe I should've taken that WebPages class back in 8th grade.

You should download each page to your computer using File > Save Page As. This way, you can access the file when our site goes on hiatus (and also when you don't have internet access!).
recommend that you save these files before January 10th, 2010. We cannot guarantee that these files will still be available after that date."
So we have untill jan 10th to copy everything off them
