My cats see an open laptop, and they think "fun place to sit."

This is amusing when I'm awake, but perturbing when I'm asleep. Found a nifty tool that will lock the keyboard, mouse, and drives until you type in a customizable passphrase. With a minor tweak of the settings, I can even continue watching shows without worrying about the potential havoc if I go to sleep. If you have cats or kids, you might want to give this little bugger a try.

Thanks, JCR. I don't own any cats or kids, but I do share my laptop with the rest of my family. It would just be funny then.

As an option for when the "toddlers" start getting smarter, you can turn off display of the deactivation sequence. Hilarity should ensue with unexpecting family members.

I highly doubt the cat will know if the keyboard is disabled or not.

You're fine. I just don't want you to find some magical combination of keys that will flip my display upside-down while I'm sleeping.

I didn't know that was possible... but they find a way.

BEHAVE and you can stay! ^_^

I will try but I can't make any promises... as the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat :ninja:

I think I'm going to have to isolate this audio and make it my ringtone because I can't get that song out of my head. I love it!!!
