I was in Borders last night and on a lark I entered "iPad" in their inventory computer. Man! It seemed like a dozen or so titles popped up including "iPad Portable Genius", "iPad for Dummies" and so on. All of them had 'pre-order only' listed under the title. Now...

Do you think the authors are receiving info from Apple now to prepare their books (after signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement of course), or will they not be able to do anything for another month until they get their hands on one at launch?

It's cool to wonder if any NDA authors currently exist or not. And just imagine: if they do, they would be privy to any 'One More Thing' surprises not yet revealed, while the rest of us can only wait!

I love my iPad (64g wifi and jail broke) but before it was jail broke it was severely gimped. Now it isn't and it made a huge difference. I liked it before but love it now.

Makes me wonder .... how many of those books will even mention jailbreaking ;)

That's great, but it has nothing to do with the books that are coming out.

Though, they probably have gotten some notice from Apple to hold their releases off until they say so.
