Some people aren't into flashy shit like trophies or custom userlookups.

If anyone had, I'd recommend they NOT say so.

A simple yes, can't harm anyone. Can it, anyhow, I haven't incase anybody was wondering. Unless you were serious about buying it, you're only helping it reach the desired price which is something in the millions, apparently.

    Of course, who hasn't?

Can't win what you don't bid on

I see zero point in bidding early on auctions, as it only raises the price. Someone care to explain? I mean, I guess you could reach a point where you outbid a lot of people, but...

Most people are just bidding to "tag" it so they can go back to it easily. The rest want to raise the price so people with lesser np won't be able to bid.

That was the only thing that occurred to me.

The person should have made a higher bid increment on the pea since now it is likely that it won't sell for that much

It will probably end up going for the market price. People arent going to bid the high amounts until the end.

Err it wasn't the bid increment that was the problem it was the starting point . . . max bid increment is 5000

. . . Do you know how many bids it will take to go up to 500 million+ which is the market price for attack peas? 100,000 bids at least . . .

    The BDC is going crazy . . . a lot of people are saying that the seller's lookup has a CGer . . . I'm like O.O

P.S. the 500 mil part is the last time I saw an attack pea sold so my information on how much it costs may be inaccurate.

I mean the person has a size 5 shop, some rather normal looking pets and barely any trophies. How did they earn their NP anyway to have such an expensive item? Something seems extremely fishy here :/

IDK but just looking at the player's account it doesn't look like they could afford it because attack peas were expensive even when they were first released.

Because ive been told that snarkie has before bidded 1bil on an auction. Could be false but have heard it a lot on the neoboards.

20 million is the max amount you can bid on an auction lot. Placing any attack pea in the auctions is underpricing it.

Okay so what ive heard in the neoboards a lot recently is that sometime in the past Snarkie, a neopets programmer, bidded 1bil on some item in the auctions. Yes i know 20mil is the max, but shes a programmer so she doesnt have rules haha.

But this is all just rumors, could easily be false :)

20 mil is not the max bid. It's the max starting bid because you can only start with 10 mil and have 10 mil increments. The auction price will go as high as people are willing to bid.

thats what i thought too. but it doesn't seem to be increasing too fast so i doubt it will go that high. but you never know. it is possible. and people could start bidding like crazy. too bad i sold like all my pure so i can't try my luck there.. although it may not be legit but it would stlll be fun to try.
