Especially JCrboy, who fucking bitched for months on end saying he couldnt get a job unless it was close because he couldnt afford insurance on his car. And yet hes going to fucking tell you to learn to drive to get a job. What kind of retarded fucking bullshit is that?
Getting a job isnt a piece of cake. If you cant drive, your limited to whats next to you. If you live on a military base, your limited to nothing. Unless your a spoiled brat whos parents will drive you everywhere.

I got my car back on the road... so now it is easier to maintain my job.
I no longer have to borrow someone else's car.
Without some sort of transportation, I would be limited to walking distance jobs...

I'm talking baby steps here. Learning to drive (getting a learner's permit, taking driver's ed, getting a license) is step 1. I don't know her parents' situation so I can't advise any further, but you have to complete step 1 before you can do any other steps.
