Just seems like a badly filtered render slapped onto a generic c4d render with tacky text effects if you ask me.

Can't really see anything that makes them stand out.

The light seems to be coming from the wrong direction in the first one. Looking at the blue dude it looks like it should be coming from the left really and yet the big glowy thing makes it clear that the light source is obviously that...but it's on the right tongue.gif. There also doesn't seem to be much to it really, you've managed to give them depth (imo) which is something I've always failed at, but other then that there's kinda not much about them. Maybe you could try putting some more filter affects in or adding stock and playing with those or something. The first one also looks a bit too blured in places, like yeah, some blurring is good (or smudging, or whatever tongue.gif) but in this case you've blurred an area of the sig that looks like it probably would have been most interesting. The text is also not quite right but I can't really help there, I'm not very good at knowing what's wrong with text, except it looks a bit blurry there. There's plenty of tutorial's on this site, maybe you should take a look at some of them, some are great, some not so great, but I'm sure you'll find a few that suit you happy.gif.

Your second one is better, there's sort of more of a scene going on with it. The main thing that stands out to me about this on is that little bit of (I assume) c4d in the bottom right corner, like the flow of the sig is sort of going from bottom left to upper right, then there's that bit going at right angles to it, throws off my eyes a bit tongue.gif.
