will Christianity bring growth or does it actually bring forth destruction not only to the state but to the individual as well?
Christianity is the base of most laws, but then again almost any religion you wish to look into holds the same basic principles. Though back in the day before we had technology it was a decent guideline for behavior, now that we have technology it is kind of out of date. I think to follow the bible word for word, as of this moment, would result in a lot of deaths and chaos as there are multiple people out there that would been seen as "demonic" "sinner" and a "witch" by the eyes of early Christians. Though if we had been following it all along, we probably wouldn't have half the knowledge that we now posses. We wouldn't be able to really be ourselves as freely as we are. I think about Christianity as I do most religion, "Just because it's right for you, doesn't make it right for me."
There is also the finance to look at. I've heard that to get richer, one should donate 10% of their money to the church. Now, 10% of a dollar isn't a lot, but 10% of 1,000,000 is a hefty sum of money. I think if this were followed properly, only the churches would thrive very much and the ideal job would be a Priesthood, or a Priest's wife.
The arguements, there have been many wars in the past carried out for differences in translation of the bible. If everyone was very dedicated to being a christian, do you realize how many fights, disputes, wars, etc. would break out on a daily if not hourly basis?
For an individual, Christianity might be the answer, depending on the situation they are in. As a state, county, country or planted, I think it would bring about distruction, chaos, and much more.

(YOUR Favorite era in time, such as futuristic, medieval(fantasy) or even primitive times (like cavemen and dinosaurs)
Competition Rules:
1. Entries must be entered on time, no exceptions. You have a week, so this shouldn't be hard.
2. DO NOT include your username in the entry. We want this to be a pure competition, and including your username could skew the voting. Any sig with a username on it will not be accepted.
3. DO NOT openly post your work or PM to others for C&C. All that can be handled after the competition. If you do this, then you get DQ'ed
4. Standard signature size is expected, so we're looking in the neighborhood of 500x150 pixels.
5. PM your entry to the person running the event (Xwee), and that person will be responsible for creating the poll for voting.
6. This must be an original work, newly created for this contest. Stealing other people's work is, of course, a serious offense. Pulling base images from public sources, however, is allowed.
7. In the event that the winner forfeits their prize, it would be awarded to the next runner-up.
8. The winner of this event has the option to run the next event, as they will be disallowed from entering the following event. If not, I will gladly run contest again!

seems to me like the guys a moron and is just making a video to get attention..

The point of bumping on neocodex is to bring your selling thread on the trading post from page 2 back to page 1.
There is yet to be a page 2 on this area of the board, so there is NO need to bump your post.. unless:
1. Your just increasing your post count. Or
2. You want your thread to be quick linked from the front page.
Whichever one it is, I see it as obnoxious and kind of annoying as well.

Suggestion
Make 1 little box where comments are the advertisements and it could say Post Advertisements Here and maybe get comments get cleard like every 15min, with that done ppl couldn't complain
its gonna be even harder selling stuff now status updates really helped
Actually I saw a good idea the other day when looking in the forum for the current competition.
Put a LINK in your siggy to your thread, that way instead of your comment status being bumped off by other status sells, EVERY post you make will have an add there.
How's THAT for a good idea people? Just post it in your siggy if you want people to know you are selling, if they are curious they will click!
