Please PLEASE please increase the Avatar Size Limit

08 March 2008 - 10:04 PM

Which forum area does this suggestion apply to:
All
What kind of work do you think will be required:
Depends on the admins, perhaps lower the limit or lower the space and usage of something else which is less important. Perhaps we can look around the board and see if there are things people really dont use that take up space
Describe your suggestion:

Can we please expand the avatar size limit? I have a few awesome gif avatars but it would be impossible for a gif to be underneath 50kb. I know alot of other forums have onlylimits like 150kb. The limit should also have alittle bit of flexibility like perhaps if the avatar is is 1 or 2 kb over. I have some really great avatars which i want to use and i get extremely frustrated to always see such a low limit and to get red error pages when I try to upload one. So PLEASE consider this, im sure the members would enjoy it as well because it would allow some cooler and flashier avatars around the board. unsure.gif

World's Smallest BODYBUILDER

12 February 2008 - 05:04 PM

At just 2ft 9in, Indian muscleman Aditya 'Romeo' Dev is the world's smallest bodybuilder.

Unlike many dwarfs, Romeo is well proportioned, with a head circumference of 15in and a chest measurement of 20in.

Romeo said: "I've been training as a bodybuilder for the last two years and by now I think I must be the strongest dwarf in the world.

"I have always been fit but since I started working out, I have become famous for my strength.

"My size has never stopped me. I train with dumbbells and do aerobics and dance. People are always pleased to see me. I have been invited on TV shows and dance on stage."

His trainer Ranjeet Pal spents hours helping his 19-year-old protege build his small muscles to perfection.

"Because of his small size, I don't assign him hard exercises. But Romeo trains more or less the same as anyone else and he's much more determined.

"When he first started, I insisted he did a month of basic exercises like aerobics, push-ups and basic gymnastics to prepare his body.

"After that, I made lightweight dumbbells and taught him basic weight-lifting exercises to shape his biceps and triceps. His size and his weight were taken care of so that he never hurt himself."

Determined Romeo is hoping to have an entertainment career after performing in many local TV shows.

He said: "I earn good money through my dance and bodybuilding shows but being rich doesn't interest me.

"My dream is to travel a lot - I want to perform for the world"

These are some of the most hilarious pictures I have seen, sure to be an internet classic. I read this article to see an actual bodybuilder with huge muscles but small body, but this guy just looks so......normal. What I found instead was this guy in some "suspicious poses". whistling.gif

So i registered to vote today.......

15 January 2008 - 05:15 PM

Yea one of my teachers has a pet project that got the school a ton of New York City voter registration forms so i was delighted to have such easy access to them where i can just hand it back to my teacher. Took like 5 minutes to fill out and im glad that i am eligible age wise for this election in time. Most people in my class didnt submit one and there were a few asswipes who practically jumped out of their seats screaming for Hillary and Obama.

So is anyone turning 18 in time for the election? and if you are do you plan on registering/voting?
If not what do you think are some of the major issues for Americans about not going to vote except for "I just dont care" or "My vote wont make a difference." ?
