Ne1 Else Like Fudge?

08 December 2005 - 06:20 PM

Nothing gets my taste buds going like some homemade fudge. When I went to reno for thanksgiving my aunt wanted to make some fudge so I helped. And to my delight it was very simple and WoW did it taste goood! You gotta try it :D

2 1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter
2 c Semi sweet chocolate chips
1 Jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme (Or same amount in marshmallows from a bag)
2/3 c Evaporated milk
1 ts Vanilla

Line 9 inch square or 13x9 inch pan with foil so that foil extends over sides of pan; butter foil. In large saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add marshmallow creme and chocolate chips; blend until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour into buttered, foil-lined pan. And let cool

If you like nuts then you could add
3/4 c Chopped walnuts or whatever kind you fancy
Makes about 3 pounds--36-48 squares.

MmmmmItsGooooooD...
