In my English II Composition class, our class is learning about first hand research and ways to conduct it. Our first hand research has to in some way deal with a text. A text is defined in our class assomething that is created from writing, whether it is the internet, a book, a video, or an exam. I decided that I wanted to look more into the effectiveness of physical texts (books) and visual texts (videos) in learning.

With the current merging of technology and learning,it seems like there is a debate about learning material consisting primarily onbooks or videos, and having the other as supporting information. Some people believe that professors and teachers should teach using physical texts, while having support from visual texts such as documentaries. On the other hand however, other people believe that they should teach using visual texts, and use books or references to books as support to the visual texts. Therefore, I question the effectiveness of both in any given setting.

I'm using a survey as part of my first hand research, and am looking for a variety of answers. The more people that take it, the better and more rounded the results. It is short, quick, easy, and doesn't require any personal information.

Hello, Im Tom!
Ive started Neopets 10 years ago, and took an 8 year hiatus since then, just got back to playing.
I have to say, I used the Shape Shifter Solver program to help me get the avatar
After that, I noticed how slow everything was going, so I just decided to join the Neocodex community.

I'm also studying computer science at my uni, and have some experience with C, and Java.
If theres any way I can help, id gladly be of service. Although my experience is still rather limited.

On another side note, I've tried using another program (KissTheMortog one) and seem to be experiencing technical difficulties.
If anyone would like to help me figure out what the matter is, I'd gladly appreciate the help.
(And I have glanced at Troubleshooting and other already existing threads and cant seem to find anything of help. I might have overlooked something as well.)
