In Topic: Anyone got studying tips?

Two things that have come to help me is to try and find a place where you can be comfortable studying and study there often. That way when you do go there you'll start to get in that mood to study where you concentrate and focus on the task at hand.

Another way to go about it would be take the material you are being tested over and try to explain it to a friend that knows nothing about the subject. I used this method the most when having to study for essay tests. Sadly none of my friends were that interested in managerial leadership so I just wound up talking to my cat for 2-3 hours a day.

For a while I collect Hotwheels, have a few complete sets. Then it jumped to cards like Pokemon and Magic the Gather (mainly legends and slivers) and then comics as well, but those have faded as well. I bought one pez because it was a penguin and now it's more of my dad still buys me them thinking I'm trying to collect them. But now the only thing I'm actively collecting would be pub glasses. There's a bar that I go to every so often on Wednesday nights that have "Brewery Nights" where each week a different brewery will send in special glasses to try and help promote their beers. Buy the beer and get the glass more or less.

Was cooking dinner for my family, and I was using a mandolin to cut onions. But I couldn't find the guard that matched the mandolin so i used a smaller one which turned out to be a mistake. About 3 slices in, I took a decent size piece off my thumb. Dad rushed me to the ER to get it taken care of but along the way he was calling everyone and laughing at it. Butgot to the ER and got to wait 45 minutes to see someone who then decided that the best course of action was to chemically cauterize (chemical burn) the wound to stop the bleeding. She took her time doing this too. But afterwards got about 3 months of cleaning the wound and dressing it...and not being able to use my thumb which sucked. Also this makes 2 of 4 people in my immediate family to be wounded by a mandolin.

@ Surrico : Have you seen Resident Evil 4? Few people trapped in a prison trying to stay away from thousands of zombies? If you managed to climb the stairs and somehow 'destroy' an entire staircase with your bare hands, how would you get off considering your supplies are limited? Suicidal jump?

If they're just fast zombies then go for bomb shelters. Or take refuge in a high area and destroy the way up if you have the means of surviving for a while. Like the Zombie Survival Guide says, get up the stairs then destroy them.

Honestly I don't think I've seen Resident Evil 4, but in most homes stairs would be easy to destroy with an axe or crowbar.
