my poor labrat isn't having much luck these days, it seems!

I'm also guilty of using the Sims 3 to live vivaciously through them, or make some of my anime girls own pets and stuff.  It's pretty silly, but it's an excellent way to de-stress.

Pet sites in general are the crux of my guilty pleasures, though -- especially ones like Subeta, where I can manually restock mindlessly for hours at a time to give myself some breathing room in between my hectic lifestyle, haha.

Also, any game where I can make my team members or otherwise have names from favorite series of mine or the names of my friends tend to eat up at least days of my time when I first get my hands on them.

(Also, you know, revisiting games from my childhood -- like that horrible sandwich stacker game, or some of those Barbie games.)

I'm a cellist -- though I haven't had too much time to play recently, with my college not offering a music program.  I also took advanced music theory for a year and that was kind of one of the worst years of my life, haha.  

I still dream of parallel fifths sometimes, and shudder.

My parents were big on making sure their kids all played instruments, and they kind of chose mine for me when I was in middle school.  I've taken years of tutoring since then and grown to really enjoy it!

I've played all kinds of pieces, though I do favor things from the romantic period.

I'll probably get really into it again within a month -- my fingers have been itching for a good session with my cello for a while now; I just have to get it from home to my dorm.

It is pretty annoying to have things that worked consistent before suddenly get your cursed or something.  I understand an element of chance, but when you add in the fatigue chance it just makes it unbearable.

I think I'm on level four or something, waiting out a fatigue for three hours or so.  Guhh.
