It was fun at first, but it multiplies a lot of the flaws of open world games by making the side activities rather mindless and boring. It also suffers from a moral ambiguity that makes the lead character unlikable and leaves you questioning your own sensibilities about 30 seconds after you get into a gun fight. Just to make my playthrough less jarring, I actually had to carefully choose who to steal from for money, but since you have to steal to make any money anyway.. you still feel like a terrible person.

All in all, gameplay is fine, but the story makes it rather lack luster.

I would also recommend checking out SuperFight and Cards Against Humanity. You can make them drinking games pretty easily, and I often play Cards Against Humanity when I'm drinking with friends.

It is definitely worth picking up. The scares are just enough to keep you on your toes, and ammo is just scarce enough to keep you scrounging without feeling completely helpless. It's what I wish they would do with Resident Evil. Just be ready for spider-women and giants with chainsaws. You have been warned.

Destiny is definitely a great game, but until the DLC is released, there isn't all that much content. Six strikes that you will be doing extremely frequently, and only the one raid that you can only really do if you know 5 other people to play with.

All that said, I definitely recommend it if you enjoy the gunplay and like to feel like the very embodiment of epic heroism. Just expect to grind daily in the faintest hope you will actually find an Exotic item you want.
