Now if there's one thing I know, it's that almost everyone has some kind of useless knowledge stored in their brains. I'm not saying that knowledge is necessarily useless, but for the most part not used in everyday life.

What's an amazing/shocking/useless/baffling/unusual fact that you keep hidden in the dark corners of your mind?? Share it with us and we can all "learn something new everyday"

Going first, I'd like to share with everyone this fact:
Abraxas wass a term used by 2nd century Gnostics to describe their 'god'. Some historians even believe that this is where Jesus Christ came from. Abraxas can be translated to Roman numerals, which added together equal 365. Coincedentally, this god also supposedly commanded 365 other gods, each with their own virtue (therefore representing the 365 days in a year).
The word 'abracadabra' is derived from the word 'Abraxus'.

My name is Veca. I'm 20 years old and live in Alberta, Canada.

I'm not only new to this site, but also to programming and such. Although I assure you I've been trying to learn as much as possible.
I hope to stick around for a while and learn as much as I can. I've already toured the site a bit and like what I see. Already picked up a few tips too.
