#2013303 hi hi

Posted by pancakeface on 01 August 2017 - 06:32 AM

Did you mean Cooper? Just wondering because I realized how I captioned the images it could be confusing lol. Fish is the first pic, Coops is the second one with the crazy eyes.

Thank you! Toast is my majestic floof.

I had the same troubles with Toast that you did with Moofy (cute name by the way). He is adorable and I'm glad he's got you to look after him now. Mats can be so awful for a cat. Toast's skin is very sensitive and his mats were physically pulling his skin because they were so bad. :(

I love siamese cats. They are always so pretty and Elsa has a pretty cool birthday.

Naww. I definitely meant Fish. Look at those obsidian portals to another dimension

I mean nothing against Coops, but I'm a sucker for large black eyes.

Absolutely beautiful. Very tasteful but fresh looking. And everybody looks like they're having so much fun.

Also, asked this in another thread but indulge me if you can and share the wedding menu.

#2012736 Spanking? Yes, no, or grey area?

Posted by pancakeface on 25 July 2017 - 09:07 AM

As a person who has been spanked many times in her life, I can guarantee that it has not taught me right from wrong. It just taught me fear of "when's the next spanking coming." Not to mention I felt more fear than I did correction.

I actually felt more correction whenever my mom or dad would talk to me in a strict tone.

I don't support spanking, and I would only use it as an absolute last resort.

I totally got spanked (in the spirit of it, not so much the literal) as a child but interestingly they also stopped when I was older. I barely remember being spanked and I can't say for sure the influence it had on me.

But on your point about feeling more correction, one of the most powerfully corrective things I ever experienced was my mom thanking me for letting her 'use the water' (to explain the phrase, water pressure wasn't great in our pipes and using the water anywhere in the house would reduce water everywhere else.)

It wasn't a simple or fleeting "thanks" either. She singled out this thing I did (without really thinking too much about it) and expressed a clear appreciation for the consideration I showed. Ever since that, I am inclined to pay attention to water usage and being considerate of how it might affect others.

And the strangest thing? It was a one time thing and I've never received thanks or acknowledgement for doing so again, but I still continue to do it if applicable for anyone with no resentment or expectation of thanks.

@HiMyNameIsJunjie @Shannon

“You’ll be fine. You’re 25. Feeling [unsure] and lost is part of your path. Don’t avoid it. See what those feelings are showing you and use it. Take a breath. You’ll be okay. Even if you don’t feel okay all the time.”

@Fikri I thought I'd find friends at work, but idek

#1939740 New Year! Big Changes on Staff!

Posted by pancakeface on 22 January 2016 - 07:59 AM

@Swarley It's going to be weird but definitely glad to know that your studies will be flourishing and that you'll be closer to your dream goal.

@Tauriel Yaay. If you find the stress of juggling all your duties too much, my offer to walk and feed your bears and meese still stands.

@Strategist Congrats on the newest addition to your family! Sending your entire family lots of love from Timbuktu, thank you for all that you've done and also especially for putting up with the awkward running joke about your awesome pen.

@Emily Congratulations and may the coffee machines be ever in your favor! The multitasking and mental acrobatics must be insane but of course you would be the one to manage it. Thank you for all your efforts in everything!

I'm unused to all the color changes now : /

#1918083 Tell me something bad that happened to you today.

Posted by pancakeface on 09 October 2015 - 06:34 PM

Multi flavor fanta? I want that :( I remember a different flavor of pepsi called pepsi twist which had lemon and was awesome. Didn't last long, though

Pepsi twist? At least that was better than Pepsi Blue

It's my birthday today and no one has told me happy birthday :( I'm 25 today.

Happy Belated Birthday! : /

I'm so fucking full of rage about this team of arseholes at work who are once again trying to throw me under the bus for their own incompetence

Sounds very juvenile, like bizarrely so. At least your boss knows and you can prove it wasn't you though.

For over a month now I've been having a constant struggle with on of my professors. The subject is called didactics. You would think that he should be a really good/modern professor. Well, no. He is a complete asshole.

Power through it! This is actually rather common even though it's so unprofessional. We all have had teachers like that, some worse than others. It's horrible but just endure it and if you can send emails to him so you have a copy of what's going on in case you ever need to make a complaint. All the same, don't unnecessarily make a complaint until you really have to, because teachers/admin will try to avoid dealing with it and might make you more of a target.

I bought a green fanta thinking it was the flavour I loved when I was a kid, but it's not. The one I bought is green apple fanta, and the one I loved is the citrus fanta, but they stopped producing that in 2004 :(

Are you on a trip or something today? I'd envy getting fresh water from a waterfall. Also, green fanta is terrible for you regardless the flavor.
