Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway

15 March 2007 - 04:03 PM

This topic is to discuss the awesome game that is Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway. It may require a slight amount of practice, but when gotten the hang of, this game can easily earn you 3000 neopoints a day, the max any one particular game can give you. It plays kindof like Mario, if Mario ran away from his enemies. The purpose of this game is to jump slow motion matrix style over peoples heads and grab these potions, bringing them back to the cave. Just make sure you don't touch the villagers, and don't let those rocks they're throwing touch you. A tip that can help you earn some real neopoints is to make sure you get all the potions at once, instead of bringing them back to the cave individually. Cause if you bring them all at once, you get a huge bonus. Infact, if you don't get them all at once, theres really no point in playing Bruno's Backwoods Breakway, because you won't earn the serious neopoints off of it. After you get past the first couple of levels, a new smarter villager is introduced, who actually patrols the entire area and follows you around if he catches you. He might also out of nowhere come flying out of the sky and land on you if you're not fast enough. The trick for avoiding him is simple too though. Just don't slow down. Keep moving the whole time, and he'll never be able to catch you. Just always remember that if it looks like you're being closed in by a villager and you're trapped, you can always jump over their heads and land safely behind them as long as you're about 5 or so body lengths away from them.

An Introduction

14 March 2007 - 08:18 PM

I'm not really much of a social person, but I guess this will do as an introduction. The reason I'm here is cause I think neopets is an awesome site, but its just too damn hard to earn a lot of neopoints. I was saving up for a halloween paintbrush (and still am until I do something stupid and get frozen) and I was just getting pissed off a it being so redicuously expensive, that I was looking up neopets programs on the web to try to find a way to get it easily. I still have yet to try any program though, as I'm still a bit nervous. Don't want to get frozen.

How to not get frozen?

14 March 2007 - 06:43 PM

I was wondering if anyone could share any tips for avoiding getting frozen when using the programs, such as the one for getting neopoints. I think these programs would be useful, but I'm intimidated by neopets threats against it, and hearing about how people got frozen after using it.
