a lot of people doesnt watch E3 online, they go directly to the event.

Nintendo only has 2,164,458 likes on fb, where are the other 90m+ users who bought the wii?, dont get me wrong, im not hating on nintendo, but its  clear that the wii u is not the hottest thing right now, so why not show everything you have in front of a big audience to try and increase sales? the way i see it, people are going to talk about nintendo , sony and ms on the internet, but on the streets its gonna be mainly sony and ms thanks to big conferences with lots of game demos, gameplay trailers and things like that

Anyway, im confident that the wii u is going to be the highest selling 8th gen console, how much is it gonna sell? idk, thats up to nintendo

>ONLY 2.1 million likes

I didn't like their page until recently lmfao also are you forgetting the 3DS exists or what hehH

Also yeah like Bone and Elin said you can't just walk in there :V It's press only. And I don't know about you but I think streaming your video game-related things once a month (whereas E3 only happens once a year) and advertising it to weeelll over 2 million people every time is gonna help increase your sales a bit! The only things I've heard about Sony and MS stream-wise is people wishing they did streams like Nintendo Direct and used less pre-rendered content

P.S. the Wii U's sales increased by like 380%+ on Amazon when the Xbox One got announced ;) Not sure why you're thinking it's doing badly heheh~

are we really sure that 1 view = 1 person? not sure how youtubes system works, but a lot of people might watch the same video over and over again (like me :p)

It's one view per IP so yeah

It's most likely per IP.

And even then. Not all 45,000 people that attended went to the Nintendo conference.

We never said it was wrong.

They just don't need the fancy conference to show it all off. They can easily show it off through the directs.

thats why iv been so annoying right now, yea maybe directs attract more viewers than e3 but why not just go and become the center of attention while everyone falls asleep in MS's and Sonys  conference? dont u think this could be positive for them?

I'm easily excited. Also being a Nintendo fanboy I get really hyped for most of the stuff they announce every year.

Camelot better be working on another Golden Sun. They left us with a cliffhanger after such a mediocre game.

More details on Xbox One's DRM- and its not pretty

-NO backwards compatibility

-Region LOCKED

-MANDATORY 24-hour account check-in

-Lending games to friends is a thing of the past, can only give away to one friend.

-fate of used games is in the fate of the publishers, and we all know how that is gonna turn out

-EVERYTHING, tied to the cloud.

Welp, Looks like Im gonna be a Sony man next generation.

In other news, E3  IS ONLY 4 DAYS AWAY

From what I can tell, your xbox live account "phones home" every 24 hours to the main servers to check if you have illegal software and stuff. If the call doesnt go through, the xbox one basically becomes a brick and you cant play anything since EVERYTHING is on the cloud

Sony has the potential to really damage Microsoft if they use this to their advantage. Then again Microsoft will still make shit loads of money from the new Xbox because people will just put up with these things.

I don't see the problem with charging an extra fee on used games.

It depends on the scale of the extra fee though. It's probably going to pretty much kill off physical shops which specialise in selling games though because most of them make a pretty good return on game trades. :/

Participating retailers (As in Gamestop) will be able to allow you to trade your games in as normal, but only if the publishers allow you to do so.

Sounds pretty anti-competitive to me, I can't see the EU standing for that. :p

It's just a bit of a "fuck you" to people who don't want to/can't pirate or want a physical copy of the game but don't have enough money to buy it new

Those people can always wait for a sale or a few months for the price to drop.

If used copies are effectively kept at a certain price point by the new restrictions then big price drops a few months after the release of a new game might no longer happen as they currently do. :/ It'll be interesting to see what happens with that after more information becomes available.

With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies.

LOL TV and Blu-ray prioritized over an hour of offline gaming at a friend's house. This might be the shittiest console in a long time.
