not you, sweeney, but if it's not being used how it was originally meant to, wouldn't it be better to make it into something more like what's it's being used for now/revamp it? idk just a suggestion.

Because the "like" system is the worst thing to ever happen to Facebook, with the possible exception of ditching the Wall for the Timeline.So if it's a pointless thing, why not do away with it and/or make it into an actual "like" system?

Sweeney doesn't have the authority to change/remove it, but I'm sure he'd do it if he could 
I don't see a point in changing it now or "revamping" it. If people want to use it as a "like" button, they're going to lol

That's pretty much how it's used now and people seem to like it that way
I don't care either way, personally.
@Rocket, I will mention increasing the amount of rep you're able to distribute per day in the meeting.
Or just add a dislike option as well. It's good to gauge how well your opinions are perceived by other members.
We had -rep for a while. It didn't go over well. *has fond memories of Khaligula's negative one million and something rep*

It was pure anarchy back then for something so little and insignificant in my eyes.

By the way, I typed Yung into the Codex search engine, you came as the first result with Yung being second. Are you not telling me something?

But yeah as people have said, it's kind of loosely thrown around these days and just 'there'. I mean no one will ever catch @Waser Lave, that rep whore -_-

Yeah I wasn't on staff when they got rid of it, so I'm not sure why they removed it.
I know they had the ability to remove the ability to +rep and -rep from specific users, so abuse from a few people shouldn't have really been an issue, if they abuse it, they lose it. *chuckle*
