I would absolutely love a pallet sized box of socks.
Also underwear.

You shipped a truck to America?
Yeah. It was kind of a spur-of-the-moment decision that I later came to regret. I was under a lot of pressure at the time.

All my stuff from England - a bunch of clothes, a computer, a bicycle, a buttload of books, boardgames and videogames. And DVDs. And miscellaneous junk that I've amassed over the years.

So apart from the junk you've amassed over the years, it probably would have been cheaper to sell it off and buy new stuff then it would have been to pay to ship it to the US.... ?

Not by a long shot.
Out of interest, how much was it to ship the pallet?

The effort and time involved with selling everything probably wouldn't work out any cheaper than just sending a pallet over. I'm guessing @Sweeney weighed up the options and made the decision accordingly...

You probably don't need to post unpacking pictures of everything.
I don't wanna see your tightie-whities!!
But, that being said, I am very interested in seeing your collection of books and board games.
*flail* picturessss!!

Well it isn't cheap, when my mom shipped over our (a loooot bigger) storage thing from the US to UK it cost her like $2k :x But Sweeney's is a lot smaller so it probably wouldn't cost that much? And it takes a lot of effort refinding all the stuff you had heheheh >w<
