Christmas Eve, I have work until 2pm, then I'm going to Staten Island to have dinner and be forced to interact with my dad's huge, Italian family. Once I get home, I'll meet up with my boyfriend, most likely smoke a bowl, and part ways until the morning. My mom's sister stays over Christmas Eve, and we open gifts whenever my sister forces everyone to get up, once a pot of coffee is made at my mom's request. My mom usually makes toasted coconut amaretto pancakes for breakfast, but I end up filling up with candy or rushing to get out of the house and over to my boyfriend's to exchange our gifts. Then, we'll go to his aunt's (who only lives a few blocks away) whenever his parents tell us we need to go there, stay for a couple of hours, eat, and go home and play with our new toys, smoke, and drink.

Got some epic plans for Saturday (or Friday for you weird European people). Want to brag about how your going skii'ing in aspen?

Or are you just snuggling up next to a fire with the family? <3. Lets talk about it here and get all excited and pumped and then the day will finally come!!!.

Anyways. The weather forecast for here is 83 degrees f, or 28 degrees c. So I will be going to the beach at like 3. We always wake up at 9 to open presents. Eat turkey at 12, then go to the beach at 3. Come home at 6 all sleepy and watch Christmas movies until we fall asleep.

    ((For people on weird times. 9 is 09:00. 12 is 12:00. 3 is 15:00 and 6 is 18:00 ))

    Tell me your plans. :)

I shall sit infront of a fake fireplace, and watch the bucket list 4x over

Christmas is always a big mess for me :p Everyone has christmas on different times, so I get 3 christmas days instead of 2. We don't do much, except eat a whole lot of food and open presents afterwards:P
Celebrating first christmas day with my boyfriends family today, then late tonight I'll fly to Holland to celebrate first christmas day again with my family (it's one day later there) and second christmas day I'm flying to Thailand with friends.
Christmas is always a whole lot of flying for me to be able to see everyone. Atleast I never have to pay for it :p

I shall spend much of Christmas Day playing on my shiny new PS3 with my fiancé. I am going to smash in so many zombie skulls! It's also going to be my first Christmas without my parents and cooking Christmas lunch myself.

Sadly, I'm working Boxing Day. It's going to be horrendous.

How are things in Australia? Nice and warm I hope? Not the freezing hell that I've returned to? :(

    Ew.
You just made Elindoril's Christmas seem totally adventurous.

Wait, it isn't already? I get to spend the last bit of my Christmas journeying through the vast wilderness of Toilet Paper in the back, because we totally got 30 pallets of the crap for the Boxing Week sale.

We have fireworks for every single event. Deepavali, Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Jan 1st NY, basically every single event that someone celebrates, fireworks are bound to go.
Even our king's birthday, and we have a hell lot of kings. Like, 9.

I'm not too sure this year. My family wants to be annoying as hell, and leave to go out of town today, so we're going to open gifts later.
    Then the cliche events occur.
    five hour car ride.
opening stupid clothes gifts from relatives.
spending an uneccesary amount of time there, wasting the majority of our school break.

So i'm pretty pissed off right now.
normally though, we open then tomorrow (christmas day) by waking up early in the morning, and they are all newspaper wrapped adressed by santa.
Not even excited to open the giftst today.

Well it's Christmas Eve and I'm giggling at how weirded out my boyfriend's family is. We're going to visit my family and have Christmas dinner with them. They don't get why on Christmas EVE, though. I don't know, but we've always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve and we open gifts at midnight, technically Christmas Day. Is it just a Hispanic thing? Any around to back me up? Anyway, I get two Christmases and one sooner than the other. Then tomorrow, Christmas Day, I get to do it all over again the "American"" way. My first year doing so.
