Chanpon is local dish, very delicious (*´ο`*) Chanpon is made with seafood (shrimps, squids, oysters, octopus) and cabbage and bean sprout, fishcake and pork (soup is also made from boiling pork bone)..... so delicious! (￣▽￣)ノ*

It's really amazing how many people like sushi. Everyone I know hates it, including myself, but I don't eat seafood so that's why. Sushi is definitely an acquired taste.

I've got a few friends who hate any sort of seafood but then again I've got some friends who love it. It usually goes more toward the "asian" side. If you're asian or you hang around with asians/ live in an asian neighborhood you're more likely to eat sushi and pocky and all that jazz

It actually looks and sounds pretty repulsive to me. Fishcake? And pork with all of that seafood? :S

I don't get the "nerd" part of liking sushi either. Are sushi nerds just people that know a lot about sushi?

On another note: this morning I made plain crepes for my roommates and we doctored them up individually. If it hadn't taken half my morning, I'd make a habit to do this at least weekly.

And crepes are amazing! I make them all the time, my latest 'crepation' was egg nog crepes and pumpkin spice crepes.

Sushi is delicious food, try to affix a title to it and lump it in as a stereotype is an exercise in futility.

Also, Puerto Ricans can hang from rafters for an extraordinary amount of time.

There's this place in my town called "Papa Kelseys" they make perhaps the greatest pizza in the entire world. Pizza Hut and Dominoes ain't got shiz on PK

Raddish is my favorite Kimchi, but I also enjoy the ones made from Leek and sometimes the Cucumber :)





And while we're on Asian food, nobody has mentioned VIETNAMESE deliciousness all over my body.

Its a a soup made from beef stock, rare slices of beef steak, tendons, tripe, and flank. It may sound kinda gross to you if you don't like your meat raw-ish but it's so tasty with hot sauce. I WANT SOME NOW :(



AND, sushi is also really really good. A lot of people like it and it's NOT hipster food. I rarely ever see any rich white people at the sushi bars where I live, haha lol
