I say instead of forcing plaintext, we have CSS as well in forum posts.

This isn't neopets where every 13 year old who just learn html has to center everything and make their font pink.

I'll support this. But just so long that Bolding and underlining are preserved for people that make guides and sell things.

Yeah. I need my bolding and italics. Don't really care for underlining.
I have yet to meet anyone with wacky fonts/colors on here though
