I think it's better to have loved and left that to be alone for 3 years like i've been so far. My last gf left me for one of my friends, that ain't cool, but i have got(ten) over it like 2 years ago.

There's a reason they moved on from you. They found someone better.

Sucks whenever you learn that the first person you truly loved, has moved on from you.

    Cheer me up someone?

Ya, it really does suck. =/ I know the feeling, that's why I try to chill with other girls, and have fun with their head since I got heart broken.

so, iargue, did it help? did this thread help you get over it?
isn't it kind of better for her to move on? you said that you truly loved her... would you then want her to be relationally stunted for the rest of life?
maybe she wants you to move on too

or maybe she doesn't, in which case she needs you to move on, so that she can get over that

This happened to me, and just because you hear people say things like this all the time, that they "loved" so and so and that they are truly depressed, I honestly don't think anyone has ever felt to the extent that I have felt.

That's a little self-centered to say the least, Perseus. You don't know the extent of his relationship with the girl, or his family history. I don't deny that you have had your share of misfortune and depression, but please don't put yourself on the pedestal of sorrow so hastily.
