I don't care what you say. Obviously you were only aiming for advanced member status when you were posting. After you reached advanced status, the amount of activity you showed here extremely decreased which I feel is good, since I hate to see your pointless posts a lot. You even posted in my Trading Post thread where you obviously were'n't interested in buying a pet, since there wasn't even a follow-up. "Are the pets BD-able" my ass. IF THEY WERE BD PETS I WOULD HAVE NOTED THAT, DUMBASS.

I like you. I`m sorta surprised he`s still here. Meh, won`t be for much longer anyway.

...well obviously forum posts are gona decrease after i hit 500, i even said this like 3 times in various places on these boards..
This doesn't mean i'm leaving as i've stated time and time again, merely that i'm only gona be posting in threads that i am interested in, or know enough about without having to do research from now on..

Daniel is basically frostz 2.0 but I haven't really noticed him spamming since he did like 5 posts a day. Also I hear he steals avatars

It was more than just 5; it was like 10-15 everyday, but it was consistent. But yes, he stole Punk' avatar and that's how he got his first 50 posts! :D

I'm not really bothered about Advanced Member, I'm taking it slow although I do want to build up my post count. I can't stay at 5 posts forever. >__<

I think the biggest problem with the current system is that I see frostz get away with this and it makes me want to do the same thing. I'm not going to, but I know I'm not the only person who's thought about it.

Except for the whole bit where I like people liking me.

Also, is there any way whatsoever to include irc activity? Because I spend a decent amount of time in the irc room. It actually means I don't spam the boards (which is good) and I participate in the community (which is also good). I actually feel like I get to know the other people on irc better than through forum posts.
I don't have any idea how you could do that, but it would be amazing if you could.

Just ban them? i know I went through this whole phase too with over posting and etc...I think i would have been not too mad for getting banned from Codex because i would think twice about what I was doing.

i don't think you realize and understand how much effort it takes to literally sit in front of my computer for 15 hours a day to get 60 posts every 24 hours over the course of a week. While adhering to the rules that were specified quite literally for me through PMs with the admins. Number of posts posted over the course of 24 hours does not = spam, its the content that defines whether or not the post is spam.

Secondly i don't think many of you realize that your post count per day doesn't decrease when the hour strikes 12, it stays for a duration of 24 hours and disappears. So i have not been literally posting 60 posts in 1 sitting, but 30 posts at a time over the course of 2 actual days. I post 30ish before i sleep i post 30ish after i wake up. theres at least 7-8 hours between my active posting time

you want to do the same thing? unless you have both a ton of spare time on your hands, and enough patience to sit and refresh until someone replies to a topic that you are either participating in or made yourself in a way where the debate or discussion could be continued, theres no way that you could possibly do what i had been doing

Yes I realize all of that. I *do* pay attention to most of what goes on here. But the fact remains that you were allowed to get 500 posts in less than a week. This means that I should be as well (if I didn't care about anything else). I just graduated college and so I'm at home all the time right now. I was stating that I *could* post 50+ times per day--it's very possible. And I'm sure it's also a little bit easier when half of them come from defending yourself to everyone :). My original post wasn't meant to be an attack in any way. I was just stating that seeing you do that made it that much more likely for other people would (try to) do the same thing, and almost everyone agrees that that wouldn't necessarily be good for the quality of the site, and at the very least, it would be very annoying.

Well the problem is that the reason I don't post that much is because I don't have quality things to say on every topic. I'd worry that it would become quantity instead of quality. Glad to know that I have the votes of confidence, though (especially votes in British accents!)

Unfortunately for your lack of open mindedness, I do not forget to note anything worthy on my pets. I would contact only one person and wait for their reply if I wanted to buy something since I do not want to spam posts here just to reach advanced status. You're the idiot. But well, this shall be the last thing I say to you, wouldn't want to ruin the atmosphere around here. I'll just leave you with this - "STFU and GTFO."

Lol u're such a right kid that ive to say this..Like you said, thats you. Different people have different ways of doing things. Hate less, kid. Im advanced and you're not, suck on that.

How about a lower post requirement like 300, but your postcount decays by 1 post a day?

    I love this idea.

After say, 1,000 posts, it stops decaying though.
