Advanced member status

A member who doesn't care about their post count.
A member who has a bajillion posts, and can get away with a one liner here and there because you've been here for 7 years.
A member who would like to become advanced, but has enough patience and dignity to wait for it to happen smoothly.
A member who would like to become advanced, and posts at every given chance. Your one liners are generally frowned upon.
A sorry ass son of a bitch who steals someone's avatar, lacks the grace to admit it, and stinks up the board with his inane bullshit.
I have never really complained about spam, because it generally doesn't bother me. I don't give a shit if someone comes along, is super active for a month and disappears forever once reaching 500. Life is just full of assholes, some cool and some lame. Where's Elton John to sing you bitches the Circle of Life and shit.
I do enjoy threads like this. The lovely arguments that assist the people who have no emotional investment to the community get their 500 and fuck off.

30 rep sounds like a good benchmark
Thats stupid.
At least 200 rep sounds nice and fair.

I don't think it's very fair to suggest requirements that you don't meet and assume that you get grandfathered in.

+1 for me!
But I don't see why we can't just implement a system where some mods/admins validate whether someone is worthy of advanced after the reach 500. We get, what, maybe 1-2 people a week max reaching advanced?

But I do have 243 rep
Also
I saw that you have 243. I more meant that Junsu has 71.
But either way, it's hard to tell if someone's being sarcastic on the internet sometimes, and especially on here. I'm still trying to find that balance. I'm starting to think it may be better to always assume someone's being sarcastic, but it's usually much more offensive when you're wrong. When someone isn't being sarcastic and you miss it, you just look silly.

If that's how you're going to look at it, what makes this different from any other the other debate/general chat threads?

I know, it was my way of telling "Until an Admin actually asks for ideas this thread is just a place to +1 your post count
And now that I have 500 posts, I have the freedom of posting just because I want to without poeple bothering me with the "advanced" thing
You'll get used to it with the time.I saw that you have 243. I more meant that Junsu has 71.

And eventually you'll become very sarcastic too.

They were talking about that on the first page, but if there's a "new" site being built right now, then they'll probably try and make a better system for that instead of wasting time on a better system for this one.+1 for me!

For now, we just put up with people who are desperate enough to spam to 500 posts to get programs that will accomplish nothing big in their lives and to just fuel their obsessive needs for pixel money.

Oh right I forgot about the new site. all my rep will go bye bye.
Does that mean I have to post 500 times again? Because if I do I'm going to spam the shit out of everything.

Do you know how much I paid for my rep? $349. That's a dollar a rep! I can't do that all over again
Curse you meaningless numbers that gauge my self-esteem!
Don't worry guys, I'm keeping a notepad of interesting topics for us to circlejerk our way to 500 again if needed
i hope you have circlejerk in that circlejerk

Personally, I hope not if it's like this system we have now.

I feel that I wouldn't be able to get rep any other way if the rep system is actually real in the new site

A sorry ass son of a bitch who steals someone's avatar, lacks the grace to admit it,
Once again you show your lack of ability to have logic above your emotions, why would anyone steal an avatar from a forum, and use it in the same forum where he hopes to get some reputation in? And back then the argument was that if I were to admit that I stole the avatar, I would not be able to gain my 500 for some reason or another, related to not being popular or something.
Well I've reached my 500 posts now and have no more reason to "maintain" I didnt steal your avatar. But guess what, no, I stand strong on my stand, I did not steal your avatar. I have already apologized to you for the coincidence, and that ought to be good enough for you.
