I have Attic ABER ticked and I've been getting UBS almost every time. Should I stop using Attic ABer? You didn't mention if AAA was dangerous or not so I thought it'd be safe. I'm using it on my main account, might be stupid, but ya.

@ Scot!

Have you ever had an account frozen using 4.2- 8 refresh times?

you DO know that getting 500 posts doesnt necessarily get you advanced. You now need to be nominated for advanced membership. So spamming to 500 aint going to work in your favour :)

Hi Scot, may I just clarify, this is perfectly all right to be done on only 1 account with attic access for 4hours 50mins, right? xD

In S/S2 you mentioned you used a main and a 3 year side. Are those 2 AB-ing at the same time?

As a newbie, how many items should I be getting every hour or so? I imagine it depends on the shop and such, but I keep worrying and restarting the program when I don't get anything after half an hour. XDD The only things I've adjusted are the wait delay (8-9.5 seconds, is that okay?) and that items must have a profit of at least 2000 NP. I've got the algorithm to 'smart' and the haggle percent to 0.1. Does all that sound okay?

Damn, I love this site already. :D It's just so neat to see this stuff.

EDIT: (Crap, sorry for necroing, I thought this was a more recent thread but I got it mixed up. XD)

Lol I've been at magic shop for a week with .5-2 second refresh rate and .5-1.0 for attic. Guess I was doing it wrong

great guide, helped me a lot.
i want to ask about proxies. do you use one or not. if you are using is it free?
first day that i found about Abrosia i used it with an old side acc. w/o a proxy and my buy times was arround 1.8-2.5ms
after i read some proxy guides, i applied, now in the aaa my buy times go up to 9ms. in the shops its arround 4-5ms minimum
do you have any tips for that case? i am wishing to reach 2ms buying time, is it even possible?
thank you.

Read up to Strat's post. 500 posts does not mean you will get advanced. You have to be nominated by an advanced member.

A ping of 89ms to San Fran sound 'normal' ??

My old buy rates were around 2500ms, but I missed ALOT of items.

JUST switched my settings to after reading this guide:
General Wait: 6 to 11
PreHaggle .6 to .8
OCR .6 to 1.0

THEN:

2012-01-29 15:17:20 - Missed Cybunny Secrets: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 33832 NP)
2012-01-29 15:17:27 - Missed Kiko Christmas Story: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 25125 NP)
2012-01-29 15:17:28 - Missed Krawk Pot Recipes: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 21868 NP)
2012-01-29 15:17:30 - Missed Kacheek Week: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 21170 NP)
2012-01-29 15:17:43 - Missed Carrot Growing: Sold out. (Est. Profit: 12853 NP)

Missed 5 items over the course of 23 seconds?

Just unlucky or readjust settings?

settings before were the default settings. (actually I think I changed the refresh times to 8-12seconds from the 8-10 default.

Everything else was left from default.
