wow~~~That surprises me!!! may i ask you more question? i want to know how long do u AB every day??? when it's midnight in Neopet, does it often restock in shops???
thanks

I generally AB while I sleep using the scheduler and thats always changing, so lets say like 5 hours. Beginning around 7am NST. The spooky shop is filled with heaps of junk so it does take some time for a good item to appear.

Question: How dangerous is stamps?

Dangerous considering the profit you can make if you AB a good one. I wouldn't risk it on a account you don't want to lose.

well i ran the Ab for many hours with lists
and always got nothing
but i always entered the "normal shops"
how come? maybe it depends on luck......

I have the same problem. I never got anything good with a list but I have got a nice amount of items using the random shop feature.

I think it might be luck, but I'm not sure.

It depends on which shop you AB with. Some shops restock slower than others.

If you're losing out to other people though, it may be a problem of latency. In that case, set your profit margin lower (like 2500) so that you'll get something every restock.

yes

just dont feel very safe if i lower it. which factor will affect icing more. ocr+prehaggle delay or the buytime itself?

I think the problem lies with your latency more? My ocr + prehaggle is slightly higher than yours and my buytimes are 18XX-20XX ms. And my ping is usually ~200. IMO adjusting ocr + prehaggle won't affect much for your case.

Well then you have to live with what you have because you can't expect to get different results by doing the same thing over and over.

I mean it doesn't have to be a dramatic gradual change. -50 ms a week until you are down to 1500ms would be a more subtle approach.

So, what do you recommend when it comes to the Haggle algorithm settings?
I see you've put it as "Smart" and 0.1% in your screenshot, but will changing that make any drastic differences?

What reason would you have to change it to anything else?

Because the default settings were 'Fixed' at '5.2'.

So you change it to "smart", 0.1. The reason why has already been explained in detail on the first page.

Just saw the chart of restock frequence vs profit.

Try buying something worthless first using the manual list option. This way you can get an idea of your buytimes, then reduce your settings so you can achieve Scot's times.
