Before I start, let me say, this is not officially endorsed by Neocodex in anyway.

I'll have a movie every friday night, and I can edit this topic for us to vote on which movies to see.

Enough people seem interested, so now what genre? I will use the imdb top 250 to choose movies for us to vote on out of that genre. I'll throw in some nominations too.

Anime movies will be on a sunday.

Maybe people could vote of the genre, then have some movies picked of that genre, theeen vote on movies? Just a thought, I dunno if it'd be too much work or anything..but in any case, movies = yesss

I like WharfRat's idea of The Big Lebowski, I've never watched it but I've heard it's good. I'd be happy to watch Harry Potter too good memories.
My favourites are The Shawshank Redemption and Memento. No one I know has watched shawshank, but since it's more popular on the internet many of you have probably watched it already.

We could always just pick a genre and then find a corresponding movie from the imdb top 250 list to watch! (The big lebowski is on the list, bee-tee-dubs. )

Yeah, my only complaint about IMDB Top 250 is that it's clearly biased towards newer movies. But I suppose that's generally what people are interested in watching... the choosing a genre and then finding a movie sounds good though!
