My favourites are The Shawshank Redemption and Memento. No one I know has watched shawshank, but since it's more popular on the internet many of you have probably watched it already.

I LOVE Memento! But most people I've convinced to watch it wind up hating it because they don't have the attention span to sit through it. If you leave the room for 5 minutes, you're likely to miss something important which throws the whole timeline off.

I went to Metacritic and looked up for the best movies of all time, including The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, Metropolis, Au Hasard Balthazar, Pan's Labyrinth, Pulp Fiction, Spirited Away, etc.
