This is really all I came to say. I think it's sad how many people bitch about Neo endlessly and yet they continue to play daily. If you hate it so much, why not find a new game?

So..rather than voice my opinion about the corrupt and absolutely pathetic staff that runs a game i used to love, i'm supposed to just keep quiet and move on? It is not the game i hate, it is the STAFF that chooses to run or rather not run the game. If TNT was to be obliterated and viacom was to hire an entirely new staff of people that knew nothing about neopets the game would still improve immensely

The suggestion I gave was to find a new game, not to keep quiet and move on. Some other suggestions could be to apply for a job there (maybe they have a telecommute position) or an internship. I am sure there are other things we could do than complain, but since I don't care enough to complain its hard to think of them.

Why am I not seeing more people questioning Viacom? Everyone says that TNT is the devil but it is Viacom that keeps the lights on. At the end of the day it is Viacom that is likely hounding Neo to cut their overhead as low as possible. Everyone assumes TNT doesn't care about their customers, but what if they do and just don't have a choice? I have seen virtual companies and datacenters run with the kind of slim provisioning (heh heh) that I envision TNT is forced to deal with. I bet their receptionist also handles accounts receivable and support tickets.

The problem is, there isn't another high quality game like it.

It's why I keep playing Maplestory, I love the concept of a side scrolling MMO, but I haven't ever found something as high quality as MS is, although Nexon is retarded.

She never said anything in the like, although ranting on a forum that has no connections to Neopets or TNT at all isn't generally helping anything but letting off a little steam.

I can completely understand TNT being chained down by Viacom. I know for a fact (don't ask me how), but there are senior staffs that has been hired before the customization revolution also hate how Viacom is putting too many influence on the money aspect than the major site content such as a plot, battledome improvements, or even something as simple as an avatar being released every 2-4 weeks. One of those olds staffs are nostalgic old-neopets lovers as well and would be torn to quit and see neopets completely become a paid service. My respect goes out to you Alison, if you're reading this.

We don't hate the game in the slightest, we hate the staff It's like the opposite of LoL

I would guess that over 60% of this forum wouldn't be cheating now if they hadn't been incorrectly frozen in the first place.

I agree with Metigue and Shrouded. The concept and general bulk of the game is still fun and I really like it but their customer service is appalling. And things like that won't ever change unless we complain about it enough

tnt isnt the reason neopets is dying...

1. when all the neopet fansites where hacked and the hash lists sold off, there was THOUSANDS of regular legit players hacked and their accounts raped and frozen, there is no way TNT can keep up with that many tickets and thats the reason the currently online users halved in less than a year

2. all the stuff from the hash lists of any value was either frozen or sold for real money, so all of sudden there was 100's of noobs account cutting around with high end items, yet again, there is no way TNT can track all these people, thus loads of false freezings and loads of people getting away scot free

3. ABers are another big reason neopets is literaly full of cheaters now becuase legit RSing is near impossible (and those sapposebly legit RS's aint, they use GM auto hagglers or another semi legit way) so all the noobs who join the site have already have a near impossible task of becoming a neomillionair let alone trying to compete with ABers and people buying and selling item/pets for cash so guess what they do, go on google and look up neopets cheats and the circle of cheaters is started

yeh tnt suck ass but everyone one of you who uses an aber or cheat in ANY way are actively contributing to the death or neopets.

I like Neopets and all, it's just the staff and (some of) the community is just ruining it for me.

It's been glitchy and buggy for the past god knows how long D: And the staff tend to really take their time when it comes to fixing things. Hasn't that email glitch where users can't create a new account (no idea which email service that affects though, I'd ask on the boards but they'd report my butt For Talking About Offsite Stuff !!!) been happening for a while now? You would think TNT would have fixed that by now, considering that might make some users not bothered enough to make a new email just to join their site. But nope! I keep on seeing threads about this, and nothing is being done. And haven't you noticed the huge amount of downtime lately? :c Yes ok, they're just humans, but... gosh, it's just annoying

Yeah, same :V I understand that TNT ultimately own all of the accounts and can do whatever they want with them but man, it's painful when the buddies you had, hard work, and mostly the huge amounts of time you put into it for the past x years of your life suddenly get taken away from you. And there isn't much of a chance of you getting it back, because hurp obvs if we freeze you, you'll stop cheating forever even if you haven't cheated before!! XD

The hashlist craze is over. The wealth you see created now is because hotmail/yahoo/gmail and other email providers have deleted inactive email accounts.

Eh, I honestly doubt it :V We're not the ones making/editing/removing the content, or "fixing" the glitches, or anything else really. We're just users, like everyone else on that site~ We just don't play as closely to the rules, heh.

Also, just because someone has done something bad before in the past, doesn't mean their opinions are suddenly voided and made completely invalid!
