This isn't about the role that we would all take in such a community it is about who we would consider upstanding citizens in our community.
Shhh, let me have my Fittzgerald Fantasies. As for upstanding citizens, I've only just met Turnips, but she's super cute and seems to be nice to everyone

Okay perhaps first we should define what an "Upstanding Citizen" is?
To me an Upstanding Citizen is someone who goes out of their way to help others without having to be asked. Who will help someone they see needs help without reserve or hesitation.
What if someone has never had a chance to help someone else out like that. A member could be incredibly selfless and helpful but never given the opportunity to show it...
1) Any list that has to do with helpfulness needs Hydro on it though. I think everyone can agree he's very helpful and approachable.
2) xBullet an old old member was the only person around the boards to help me out with programming and really got me going on it.
3) Someone on the IRC channel found a bootable osx ISO for me when I asked for it, I can't remember who it was though =(
4) punk does the annual christmas card thing. Which isn't helpful per se but she makes them by hand and mails them out to total strangers. That's a pretty cool thing to do...
Nothing else really comes to mind...Cody's always imparting his knowledge of drugs and hallucinogens and the sort to everyone when they need it. That sorta counts right?

That's because you're a woman. It takes you longer to understand simple things that don't involve the bedroom or kitchenYou took like 15 minutes to explain it to me last night and that was the only point you were making?

I would call you an idiot, but you seem to have figured out I'm a woman.

I'm not entirely sure how figuring out that you're a woman would make you less inclined to call me an idiot... Unless you realise that a womans opinion on such a subject isn't taken into serious consideration and hence thrown out the window as heresay.I would call you an idiot, but you seem to have figured out I'm a woman.
PS: I thought earlier in the thread d4lta was the village idiot.

...No. Gatsby was the super rich playboy from humble beginnings. Rich from smuggling liquor during prohibition, not conning anyone.LMAO
The super broke con-man?
Stupid idea anyway. You two don't know the first thing about what it is to be an "upstanding citizen" Your little popularity contest is cool and all, but we have two ways of recognizing people here at codex, advanced member and retired member. If we needed advice on who to promote, we'd ask for it. This is just a public statement of where your sympathies lie. It's your right and all, but totally unnecessary.

He is. He's merely demonstrating why
(and I'm flattered that I'm on both Napi's and Yung's list -blushes- )
And I totally vote Hydro as president. He's cool like that (I feel like he's a celebrity and get all excited when he posts, nevermind that it's never a thread I made).

It's just fun. It's just a game. I'm not trying to force my opinion on you or anyone else or give any of you advice.

It would be crazy, but Eventually SL would rule us all followed by Georgina. (this is assuming she is active xD)

Ah, good. Someone said Yung at last.

It was a poor attempt at trolling no one chose to acknowledge besides you, bravo.
We're training the trolls of tomorrow, look at that! Sweeney is teaching in our hypothetical real world community.
