The degeneration of the topic, since the article talked about children as young as my daughter being peer pressured into mutilating there sensitive skin, I voice my approval of your article. The fact that I brought up the very example consistent with the original article, appeared to gross out many of people. At one point, I was called the same name as bigots have called me in anger and rage, a word generally not allowed in my house. When I pointed the offensiveness of this remark, then it degenerated.
The irony, is my daughter will likely be shaving her legs for swimming at too young of an age, as she is on a swim team, a decent but not great swimmer. I really am at a bit of a loss when and if she'll develop much hair on her legs, I hope she'll not be like her aunt, my sister. I come from bearish stock.

I understand all that. My thread about sex toys also went into 4 pages of serious, on-topic discussion. It was more of a rant of my inability to place topics appropriately than this topic specifically going astray.

People should feel free to do what they like without all the guilt trips. I prefer to be clean shaven under the arms and in the "bikini area". I pluck my eyebrows, too. I don't like it. I do, however, love it on a man.

I love the fact that my beloved wife legs have very fine blonde hair. I just don't think my daughter is going to get, although the hair on her head is certainly blonde. I am not blonde. Lena's half not sisters also seemed to inherit my not blonde hair.
It is up to her mother and myself, to make sure she is comfortable with her own nature, her own body, her own mind and her own spirit.
