It seems to be yours since you just wrote me an essay trying to justify being a douchebag to people. It's perfectly reasonable to have a sense of tact when trying to debate someone, but you constantly resort to name calling which leads  me to believe that you just look for excuses to put people down. You're constantly putting other people down when it's completely unnecessary  I've had plenty of debates with people where we have completely different opinions and yet I don't go "I disagree with your opinion and you're not validating it to me to my expectations, you are stupid" that's a petty and childish generalization to make and it's not going to sway anyone to agree with you. And this isn't even about debates this is general opinions being posted in general chat. People don't post in general chat expecting to have to defend every post they make, sometimes people just want to have a simple conversation. If they want to debate, they'll go to the debate forum for that. You on the other hand seem to turn everything into a pissing contest and show off your amazing e-whit. It's played out. If people have a problem with me and don't say so, that has no bearing on my life, it's not going stop me from letting people know when I think they're being childish.

I can't decide if I am supposed to take these nominations seriously or think they're all in good fun.  It seems to go back and forth depending on the point that someone is trying to make.

 

For example, Pyro being nominated for next user to be banned or most likely to leave soon is just fun and games, right;  but saying that the "problem" lies with someone because they're leading a certain category implies that these nominations hold a certain amount of weight.  Is it fun and games or srs bsns?  I can't figuRE IT OUT AGHHGH

I did read it. And you just resorted to name calling, and if it's not outright name calling it's you claiming that someone is inferior in some way. 

 

 

There's been a huge shift in the population of this forum over the past year or two, and I don't fit in with this new crowd. You're all young, self-involved, undereducated and wilfully ignorant. You revel in your foolishness, and it's disgusting. I hold many of you in the highest contempt.

 

Just because we have self esteem and don't want to deal with your condescending bullshit doesn't make us under educated and willfully ignorant. There are plenty of people who come here to just talk to their friends, not to justify themselves to you. It's not that you don't "fit in" you simply make yourself unapproachable by constantly having a negative opinion on EVERYTHING. Your posts give the impression that you're above having a simple friendly conversation and that everything is a debate.

 

On the other hand, if someone disagrees with me over a topic, but cannot back up their opinion with even the most basic reasoning skills, then that person is stupid.

 

I have seen instances where no one is disagreeing with you or even acknowledging your existence and you come in calling their opinion wrong or saying something completely rude to them. Maybe it's just the teacher in you that you don't like people to be "wrong" but not everyone has to justify themselves to you if they're not even trying to sway anyone's opinion.
