Hello All!!

Ive finished my first Neo bot its a stock buyer/seller

i will post two downloads the .py file for you guys to view my code and give feed and the .exe if you don't have python downloaded

basically the program will buy 1000 of any stock at 15np then it will sell them once they get to 60np (if you get the .py you can change this of course)

but just put the program in your task scheduler and set it to 1-3 times a day then it will buy new stock everyday and sell the stock if needed

this is my first Neopets bot so please give me feedback on how i can improve it!

Downloaded the exe and I checked the stocks beforehand mind you.

 

Weren't any stocks at 15 so it told me it didn't buy any stocks.

But, I had stocks that were @ 64 and it didn't attempt to sell them. It actually just hung at the no stocks to buy message and closed itself maybe 2 minutes later.

 

Any idea what's going on?

I know the info file just saves your login for you so you don't have to fill it in for next time, but is there something else I'm supposed to do with it?

I think I know what's wrong it should sell any stock above 60 whether the prog bought it or not because it scrapes the web page for the current price and if its above 60 it sells it

I think I may know what's wrong but Im not near my comp right now but I will fix it when I can and update the post thanks for telling me!

@blue the program sells shares 1000 at a time so if there arent 1000 of the shares it will try to sell them fail and then that share will be taken out of the sellables list

Sorry to necro this post, but this looks like a really handy program. The exe file was taken down, and I'm getting a syntax error when I try to run the python script. Any chance you could re-upload the exe?

Line 48 in the py code, just fix the "Sucessfull" word

never coded any bot, i'll try to learn a bit with your code

This is a nice start, but I found that the exe version starts, BUZZes and closes...

Probably cause this is over a year old and hasn't been updated. That might be it. Just saying. I mean, the last post was in august.
