Yes just keep watching

Honestly I can't even remember, but I'm sure something important happens that you don't want to miss.

Episodes #11 and #12 are pretty slow still... #13 is where it really picks up though, and has one of my favorite Daryl moments.
Last three you definitely do not want to miss.
Still pretty scarred from #14. :|
I'm mostly okay not knowing exactly how the outbreak began. Think it's just as interesting (if not more so) to see the reaction to the outbreak as it's happening than destroying the mystery of why.
Like... I kinda see it as one of those stories with an open ending left to the viewer only an open beginning.
I mean, think of the possibilities: Rage virus mutates, aliens, government trying to weaponize the recently deceased, comet crashed and infected earth with some sort of space aids, next step in human evolution, magnets, etc. ![]()
@Athayde How far along are you in the comics?
Binged the heck out of it through issue #127 myself. Now they're on #145/146; time to play catchup before the new season starts. heh ![]()
Was so good I'm definitely picking up the compendulums to reread later asap.
Really hoping Kirkman actually does make it to (and even beyond) issue #1000.

I admit when TWD started was damn curious to know how it happened, and even more when we realized that everyone is infected, but as the story went I understood that the why wasn't all much important because we wouldn't be watching zombie stories but how a group of people survive in such drastic and dramatic situation. What for some people was boring (many episodes with lack of zombie action) I found that that was exactly what we needed to see: humanity in the middle of the end of the world.
I'll watch the spin-off because it has zombies and not for the main reason pretty almost everyone will: to find out why/how everything begun.
I remember Kirkman mentioning the aliens will be revealed in issue #75 (?) as a joke, and some readers insisted in to writing to the Letter Hacks asking "when will aliens show up, you fucker?!" lol
I'll start issue #36 tonight. I'm reading 2 or 3 per night, I'm taking it slow because I love reading most of the letters in the Letter Hacks section. ![]()
I heard that the tv show was very different from the comics, but it was still a shock to find out how different it was (well, at least Lori is as annoying in the comics as she was in the tv show
). Not a bad different, just different. But I'm hooked. Adlard's work is amazing.
It certainly opened my appetite to more comics of the same genre (horror/sci-fi/blood bath), but I'm lost to where to start searching, my only experience with comics is far away in my past and it's only related to Disney (how fitting is your Donald signature right now xD).

Edit: I've read issues #36 to #38 last night!
Things are so intense, omg. I can't wait to read the next issues!! *fangirling*
@Bones you should do it. TWD comics are amazing. Yes, there's a lot more gore, blood and graphic deaths/torture* (to be honest most of them I think it would be completetly forbidden to put on a tv show - and this says a lot coming from me, believe it lol) but there's tons of people's stories there. And the thing is so different from the tv show, that, if it wasn't for the character name's, it might pass for something completely unrelated (except for the things that are exactly the same as the tv show lol).
* SPOILER ALERT TO THOSE WHO DIDN'T READ THE COMICS AND ARE THINKING OF DOING IT!

I'm watching FTWD mostly because I want to know how it all started. If it ends up being good I'll continue watching it, but mostly I just want to know what the fuck happened.

Any bets on how it was?
I'm thinking about a bio war or something like that, since it's something that affected everyone, it was probably transmited via air. It could be via water too, but not veryone drinks water from the same source.

Honestly I have no idea lol, I'm kinda surprised that it wasn't really discussed when Rick found people. First thing I would ask would be WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? If it was brought up then I clearly don't remember.

I don't remember being discussed either. Not on the tv show, nor the comics so far. I remember affter they got out of CDC facility they talked a bit about how veryone is inffected and not only those who are bitten but that was pretty much it.

I finished issue #50 last night. And OH MY EFFING GOD.
Issue #48 was sickening. Kirkman, you're a fucking sick man. I love you, I wish I could fuck your sick, twisted, gross, dark mind like you fuck mine every night.
Spoiler coz spoilers. :v
I'll start issue #51 today and maybe go to #53. I'm really anxious to see how different this goes from the tv show.
Fear the Walking Dead only debuts here tomorrow, I'm assuming it will be on AMC, I don't even know if I have that channel lol. I hope so because I really don't want to stream/download it.

Wasn't sure whether to watch the latest season as I left last season lost it alot. But I will catch up on the first two episodes and work out if it is worth watching.

*enters on the thread with eyes covered to escape any spoiler that might be roaming (AH!) around here*
So, it seems that FTWD (e.e) is on AMC tonight, and I'm glad to know that I have that channel. I'll watch it hoping it's good and stuff and things. xD
My friend is not very excited about this, she's not a fan of zombies. Yeah, I don't know why we're friends.
I should just bite her and let her go.
Soooooo. I have read issues #51 to #59 today before dawn lol.
I'm feeling pretty excited about it, constantly. But sad at the same because I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO SHARE MY EXCITEMENT WITH! Carly, my friend is useless about this, and my man likes zombies and the tv show but he's not into comics. The bastard. I should bite him and ditch him as well.
Spoilers ahead because there's some pretty sick/gross/demented things here, you've been warned. :v
I love Abraham.
Probably the best cover so far, imo. Adlard and Rathburn, you are amazing.
Kirkmanwiththebiggestballsincomicsworld, you sick, you did it again!
... today you gave me this in the first pages of issue #55.
I found this in one of the last pages of one of the issues that I don't remember which one. Amazing to see them -especially Carl- zombified. =O
I'm gonna start compiling these posts. Once I catch up with the reading I'll send Kirkman an e-mail so he can make that crazy-psycho-fangirls-gonna-fangirling-like-the-psychos-they-are-mails-pile bigger.

Fear was alright, willing to see what else this has to offer.
@Athayde the best is yet to come
Feel like we should get a support group ready for what happens within the next 40ish issues. ![]()
I enjoyed Fear.
Probably would have been bored as heck if I started with it instead of TWD first though... but I didn't.
It was really great having all that noise and liveliness going around.
Walkers that still look like people due to how freshly they turned.
The realism.
Just a shame that
Can't wait to see what's next.

Oh man. I have so much to talk about it, but I'll just wait until I reach #100 (probably tomorrow).
WHY I'M SO EXCITED WITH A COMIC BOOK? WHY I'M ALONE IN THIS?
I'll start #84 now and I'm pretty sure I'll be bald when I catch up with the reading due to stress. Hope I can still be sexy, tho.

Almost on issue #145!! I have so many things to say about the whole thing. I hope when I send it to Letter Hacks they don't just throw it away without reading it. xD
(oh my crapping god, it's been a rollercoaster)
About the FTWD.
Damn it. I had a lot more to talk about but I had to make dinner in the meantime and my brain kinda blerghed. Argh. I'll probably remember it later and update this. Or not, and the thing is forever lost in the depths of my grey matter D:

Fear The Walking Dead - episode 2 - I'm still not impressed... I'll watch a few more episodes but I just can't get into it, I hope it picks up more.
