Christ. Morgan's boring as hell. Even the Morgan-comic with those stupid puppy eyes was more interesting than this. I mean, chained zombified kid... If this was supposed to be an episode centered on him, it failed. Cheese-man was the man. Hell, even the seconds showing the beautiful Tabitha being eaten were more interesting than anything with Morgan. He should die soon.

IDK... for the most part I kinda liked it.

It was like a combination of too much time spent from the last we saw Morgan to him on the way to Terminus to have to cram into one episode, focusing on a tiny fraction of that... and then dragging it out longer than was necessary... and then killing off an interesting character in a super weak way - a way that, based on what we saw so far in the episode, he should have EASILY dealt with no problem. It was like the only reason he died is because it was near the end of the episode.

 

Did like seeing Crazy Morgan though would have liked to see more as to why he finally left Cynthiana, Kentucky. Would have liked to seen more "clearing" of good/neautral guys as much as badguys & the undead. If he really did "clear" all or if he ever let any (many) go?

Really liked the chracter of Eastman and learning more about him - his past and how he's trying to help Morgan find his inner peace, to "come back" to his humanity.

And poor Tabitha... was actually a little heartbroken there...

 

 

If I was doing it, I probably would have done a series of 15-20 minute webisodes called "Morgan's Story" or whatever.
Spread the timeline out more to show some of what was going on before/after Rick & Michonne met him during TWD season 3 (?), why he left, a bit more of his journey to right where the episode picks up, the episode could easily be split into three - then the final episode of Eastman & him on their journey where they come across the initial Terminous sign... but Eastman still dies just before Morgan's next appearance in TWD took place. Possibly in a small group of Walkers where (only) Eastman (and it's so soft or not at all audible to the viewers) swears he hears whispering as they tear into him.

So probably 6-7 minisodes to properly cover everything & still manage to keep it interesting through-out.

 

But as none of that happened... yeah, Morgan is pretty boring as smeg and now I have a feeling he's about to get even more preachy to Rick & the gang.

I agree I liked seeing how Morgan had changed and the reasons behind it and also it was key to showing him why he spoke to a certain person at the end

I still feel it was only a poor excuse to make us wait for Glenn's fate, even though most of us already know it by now. We already knew Morgan was not ok since season 3 when Rick, Carl and Michonne left him. And we knew the reasons behind it. After he showed up at Alexandria he told Gabriel (?) he learned how to fight like that with a cheese maker cheeseman. I was kinda expecting this episode to be Morgan centered, but a cool one. I don't like Morgan, I don't know why. D: It turned out to be about Eastman, and that's cool, he was a nice character - in a way, he would be better for Alexandria than Morgan, but whatever...
All I saw was more of the same from "Clear" but with a goat and a cheeseman (who were intensely more cool than Morgan lol).

 

 

 

Anyway. I'm happy to see someone else is waiting to see the whispers on the screen @Alexiel

I've been laughing my ass out at the rage that's spreading the internet about this new male character. "Noooo, another comic character ruined", "I won't watch this show ever again", "they made my favourite comic character a complete pussy!".

I was happy to see Abraham. And I want that walker that Daryl kills after escaping from his captors to be my pet.

Oh god I was going to talk about that I was knee deep in some delicious grilled cheese and my line of thought was all blergh. It's so weird to see him in a car and not riding a bike like the badass mofo he is o-o I think I only feltthis weird when Rick shaved his beard upon arriving to Alexandria (he was still fucking hot tho)
I actually held my breath when I saw him take off the jacket and throw it away, and when he got this close to be apart from that beautiful crossbow.
