There's an option to change the FOV, so you could try that on Joe's account and see if it makes any difference. Also, using a different (high res) texture pack might help. Playing in default makes me feel dizzy too.

I think I can handle it.  First person shooters and games like Portal make me want to puke but I think I will be able to play this one.
