I wasn't sure if there was a thread where people could tell everyone about good movies they've watched so here it is.

I just watched Nightcrawler on Monday and even though I was on a plane full of noise and coughing and uncomfortableness, I was completely drawn in. Jake Gyllenhaal's physical transformation wasn't the only amazing thing about his work on the film - he blew me away playing the character of Lou Bloom. The supporting cast was just as great, and the cinematography practically had me drooling. Great, great film.

Loved that film! Cumberbatch never fails to impress me with his intense, captivating performances. Keira Knightley was a dream, as well.

Just watched Southland Tales time. It and Scott Pilgrim vs The World are probably my current two favorite movies.
Going to check out The Boondock Saints and The Green Hornet later tonight.

The last movie I watched was with my ladyfriend:
It was enjoyable, but I'm not sure I'd rate it that much.

Well, I wouldn't say that this is a good movie, but it's... different.

It was a little while ago but me and Elin watched Ernest & Celestine and oh my god it's the cutest, loveliest movie I've ever seen!! It's so much fun and the animation is phenomenal ^^ <3
(Comparing the dubbed voices to the original French ones... It's good but I think the French one's a bit better!!)
And then damn, From Up On Poppy Hill is fantastic as well!! The story is great (whHOA THE TWIST) and the OST is great too!!
Even if you're not into animated films they're definitely something to check out ^^

+1 for The Imitation Game.
I also really enjoyed Interstellar, but I watched that a couple months ago.

Hah, I have a special place in my heart for movies like Rubber.
@Turnip, I love From Up On Poppy Hill - you really can't go wrong with any Miyazaki films. ^^ (Except for Grave of the Fireflies, which I highly recommend, but only if you're ready to do some crying...)

The only movie that made me cry.
It's not the love between the couple, but between the man and his father. That ending

^ I may have to check that out.
I watched Mr Peabody and Sherman on Netflix last night, cause netflix kept throwing it in my face. xD I thought it was cute.

Freier Fall (free fall (its a gay themed movie))
also struck by lightning, watched that one yesterday, it was great

I watched... Fifty Shades of Grey... lol
It was better than the book in my opinion. Okay, I did only read half of it because I thought the writing sucked, but in comparison, the movie is definitely better. Ana is actually quite cute. And Christian is way more likable than in the book. And dare I say... sexy .///.
I'm not going as far as to say that it's a movie I'm crazy about. But it definitely wasn't a pain to watch (see what I did there? : p )

I watched undisputed 2 & 3 last week back to back... to back. and then I watched 2 hours of Scot Adkin's training videos and fan mash ups. You can basically count that as a 4th movie.

Went and saw Focus with Will Smith and Margot Robbie. It was a solid film, nothing mind blowing but it wasn't bad either. Solid acting, good videography and the soundtrack was seamless. Good afternoon watch

My husband is like "sophisticated cowboy" (ahem, redneck), construction-foreman dude - used to be in the Marines, served overseas, yada yada yada. Basically your extremely stereotypical "manly man." I made him sit down and popped his Spirited Away cherry.
He loved it.
Score one for the home team.
