So how long do you guys think Neopets has left?

Remember in the beginning when UL's were broken for a really long time? It's happening again. They took them offline, and when they want to bring them back, they won't be able to.
Next the lag will be back.
Then items in shops will glitch, being unable to be sold.
Then neopets will only show one body part at a time. Like just showing the head or a leg.
And you'll know the end is near when everyone is getting "wrong password" messages trying to log in.
The final sign will be the red perti showing up everywhere for a few days, and then disappearing. 
 
These are the signs. THE END IS NEAR! THE END IS NEAR! *walks outside wearing large board that says "THE END OF NEOPETS IS NEAR" and screaming at random people*

Why does everyone think Neopets is going to die?  This isn't the first time Neopets has slipped up and it won't be the last.  There were much worse events, like Dupe Day.

I got a warning for posting on an inappropriate board. So they're using their time to track down everybody and send them warnings. This is going to take a long time.

Oh yes, and if you have a ticket that has not been responded to e-mail [email protected] with your ticket number. They e-mailed me back a couple hours later saying they will look at it

Not that I saw. I didn't have any when I checked before noon and was iced when I checked again.

So instead of actually fixing the problem, they're going to go through and ice the only few players they have? It's pretty pathetic. They do nothing to advertise their website and have very few players. They need to actually work on making the site a better place.. I'm so tired of it.

The account I used is still ok. I didn't check the site, but the SS is still sending scores just fine for that account. If it was frozen, I imagine the SS wouldn't be able to work on that account.

I didn't make any dirty comments but I did respond to a few topics with dumb irrelevant comments.  No warning or freezing yet, will report back if anything happens.

They need help. They obviously don't have enough people to do it. I would be mad if I had NC that disappeared. I never trusted NC.

This is just a consequence of their actions, they can't really blame anyone but themselves. Banning accounts because they can't handle a site, it's a stupid move, and shows just how dumb they are when they have a player base that's shrinking every day.

They are doing all the wrong things, if they really are considering maintaining the site. They should come to Codex and read all the stuff we write about it, to learn how to do things properly.

They don't take this website as seriously as TNT did. It's a disgrace they still pose as TNT as they said on Facebook. There is no way that's the same team we've been dealing with. This website used to be really fun but with all this chaos, it makes me want to leave. It's hard to throw away 10 years of hard work though.

Not that I'm defending JS but TNT had a reputation for not giving a shit too.  They became really complacent towards their final years leading up to them being sacked in March and they DEFINITELY had no issues freezing people too.

 

I've noticed that JS has been more lax on freezing people lately.. It definitely still happens but not as often.

I have a few emails saved from before then in my OLD OLD e-mail where staff members like Justin J. and Felicia personally responded to my emails and unfroze my accounts.  The ticket system was bullshit from the start, there is absolutely no reason it should take two years for them to respond to a ticket.

 

Personally I think it was TNT's own decision to begin alienating themselves from the users once Adam and Donna left.. There were staff members like Wendy who actually became friends with people outside of Neo back then.

Yes, I have those e-mails too! Those people were absolutely amazing! It was always fast and quick. The ticket system was really a downfall, I agree.
