Were you looking for a game similar to Smash Brothers?
If your answer was yes, then this is the game for you.

TowerFall Ascension is a challenging Battle Arena game that, in Quest mode,
pits you and your friends (local co-op) in a PvM arena. Waves of monsters come
at you, and with your trusty bow, you take them out. You only have a certain
amount of arrows, so use them wiseley. At the least you can retrieve most of the
arrows after shooting them. If you can't get them back, you'll have to kill the
enemies by percisely landing on their heads and making them poof away.

In the arena you may find, or steal, arrows shot by enemies. These arrows could
have some awesome powers, like shooting through walls with Drill Arrows.

The arena is a static area, but if you fall through the bottom of the arena you will
suddenly appear at the top of the arena and continue to fall until you land on a
platform. This is a really cool mechanic and allows for some cool challenges with
killing enemies. You fall faster than your PvM enemies, so you can crush them as
long as you can land correctly. Just like going through the bottom of the screen,
you can go through the side, to pop out of the other side of the arena. You have
to have a good view of the whole arena to get an idea where everyone is at to
correctly assess where and when you should attack.

The original game has some hard levels to beat in a Solo or Co-op mode, so
you can beat them within a few hours if you get the hang of the game quickly.

With the Expansion of the game, you have access to the workshop to create
your own levels, or try to beat other people's levels. It's pretty fun to see what
other people have made and want to put out as a challenge for others to beat.
You also get another set of Quests to beat.

I would recommend this game to anyone who wants a challenge in the Battle Arena
genre that isn't too expensive and is a great alternative to Smash Brothers.
(for those without Nintendo consoles)
