They are constantly updating security (login code, buying from shops security code, shop wizard banning) and they do all these things to stop people using programs and soon enough their security will be so CENSORED rediculous that everyone will leave

a si'mple answer to their problem:

but just think, they update their security and how long does it stop programmers? 1 day at the most

yes I agree. Neopets has been delaying neoschool for years! I don't know what they are up to now, it keeps going down!

Exactly... they are just too CENSORED dumb to realize that they aren't stopping any but the lamest progs this way..... and just majorly CENSORED up the play for all non-cheating ppl... And no doubt ppl will soon start leaving if this continues...
They'd see it from the correct point of view if they joined any npets-cheating  board (ok, so maybe except digibliss )

they will never shut down the site, if they shut down the site then they cant sell anything to consumers, its more then a game now its a business and a successful one at that, they wont shut down

I'm sure a program to cheat scores is still possible..after all, they're still sent from the client side aren't they? All we need is someone smart enough to understand the variables...

*cough*xx_WLT_xx*cough* in one of his progs he had the abilty to change variables, and sure he could program it to do it automatically then just send score

neopets isnt going to shut down for a long ti'me, EVEN if they lose millions of members, they still have more joining every day, and also, they have created a portfolio of assest now, they have the clothes, the toys, the cards, all that in addition to the sponsors. 

on another note, if a professional hacker, like the guys that hack the government sites and stuff, if one of them tried, I bet he could hack the neopets server some way or another, and if not, then we could always hire the british to send in james bond and hack them from the inside

neopets will never shut down. They did not start selling toys, trading cards, all that JUST so they could be shut down by a group like us.

If they allowed cheating, the site would be screwed in a month . I personally only cheat to be on the winning side. There will alwyas be cheaters on Neopets. Always. So going clean will just leave me on the poor side of Neopets. I'm just cheating to balance out the universe . Personally, if I was SURE no one on Neopets cheated, I wouldn't either.

Ya we rely on Neopets to put up security measures I believe. Without them we would have no bounds, and everyone would end up turning neopets into a scaming,spamming cespool. Plus this is actually barely based on neopets anyway. This is a board of friends as well.

Do you know how much it costs to rent 007, you should think through these things.  Anyway they put more stuff on the site we figure out how to get past them; its all good, its all fun and for us poeple that are going to be real ti'me programers later in life it's practice.

Neopets will not shut down, they are making alot of money I believe through Merchendise and Sponsers and stuff!
