Since trixx's poll had completely biased answers to begin with, I figured I'd set it right and make a proper poll here. You can keep discussing in that topic as much as you like, but that sham of a poll cannot continue, lol.

I almost added neutrality to the poll, but figured in doing so, it'd give an easy out to a lot of people that don't want to take a position either way. If you don't have an opinion you can just vote null and look at the results? :p

But I find in almost everything someone has a leaning either way... Putting neutrality in a poll just gives someone an easy out to deny that they have that leaning.

Vote: Strongly For

Reason: Who am I to say they can't be gay if they want to be? O_o I'd kick up a fuss if someone tried telling me I was in the wrong and against the law to be straight...

Well since most laws are based on christian laws, and the bible does state that homosexuality is wrong, it can cause conflict.

Naturally, a lot of things cause conflict. But basing our laws on laws that came from a book written by uneducated men who weren't Godly and who don't agree with eachother in their own writings simply doesn't make sense, certainly not anymore. Just because christianity is stuck in a rut with it doesn't mean our nation has to be...People are coming to accept homosexuality, our country has followed suit, all is good.

For. As long as homosexuals aren't married in a Church I'm for it. They can even create an equivlent and I'd support them

For.

I have tolerance for them, mainly because my sister is gay, and my father is most likely a homophobic closet homosexual. lol. But I don't really care. If people beat up gays because they're disgusting, I wonder why they're thinking of what two homosexuals do in their bedroom.

Okay, I but against, but really I'm not. I find the thought and the like bad, I'd never do it, but not because of religous stuff either. I don't care if someone his a homosexual. I could care less really. You should really have a "I don't give a shit" option :p

I voted For. I have tolerance, and I treat them with respect, they're still people. As long as they are not... like drag queens...

I'd say neutral, but as Brkn said we all do usually lean, and that's the way my vote leans more I guess.

I voted against. I do think that it is simply wrong, but as I do have a lot of friends that are gay/curious, I couldn't vote strongly. I sometimes see them with their partners and they are extremely happy so I just mind my own business.

So basically you will never see me at a anti gay rally, but at the same time you will never see me at a gay rally. Their decision, I am just not going to condone it.

For me lets put it this way. I know that I can't change the way someone orients thats fine but I won't tolerate having them be wed publically in churches which is just wrong and I don't want same sex marriage legalized either. So basically I have a loose religious perspective towards the issue. So Im against!

Why not?
I can't find any good arguments other than the bible saying it's an abomination.
A sexual orientation does not affect me and the world issn't religious.
Go them

Well I have theory Jaf, I'm saying it's naturally wrong. Why might you say? It's pretty simple, bare with me.

We as humans are animals, and as we are animals, just like plants, and other living things, the only natural point of our existance (not morally, religiously etc), is to survive and spread our gene.

Since homosexuals cannot reproduce, they cannot surive on (obviously things are like that nowdays, like I said, just a theory and a belief.) so they're in the end, against nature and will just die out, like the Dodo and the French.

But I don't care, because even though it's wrong, we're all entitled to our own beliefs and opinions, I personally think it's acceptable to kill people who sleep with your family members.
