I do see your guy's point. I just don't agree with saying you absolutely don't need medication. Some people are helped my the medication they take. My step-mom was born with depression, which runs in her family (her father killed himself), and she says she's thankful it's there for her. She wishes that her father would have tried medication.

You can't judge a dead person without knowing fuck all about their life. Something that you've done. So don't go around saying "don't put me on the same level as them!" You've acting arrogantly and putting yourself above them with absolutely no basis to do that. Like I said, educate yourself.

People commit suicide not because they are afraid, but because they think that life will be shit forever and never get better. Youth suicide highlights what is so wrong with society right now, they aren't 'pussys' they're people who were pushed to the limits of depression and despair.

To me, suicide is just the overcoming of procrastination. You'll just be getting to the inevitable a bit sooner than others.

Young people/youth who commit suicide, not always. You don't know what was happening to him/her. You have no idea what terrors might have plauged them; school pressures, physical/emotional abuse, internal chemical imbalances. Who's business is it your's what someone should be forced to endure? Let's face it, sometimes, life DOESN'T get better. 

Now, I'm not pro-suicide or anything. But I do think it's your life you can choose to live it, or end it, however you wish. But it is a decision which should be thought over with extreme care, discussed with family/friends/professionals, before you really decide.

I'm anti-suicide myself, and I think life's pretty sparkly enough to warrant continue breathing. Then again, that's probably just me - who go to a convent and never have to face any srzbznz in bullying in life before. As for the rest of the world - you really can't judge them for what they do. There comes a point in life where the thought of life itself is repulsive. You can't continue living if there's nothing to live for except monotony and more pain. Imagine living as a manual laborer who's got no credentials, no family, too poor to get an education and too uneducated to get a new job when he's fired. For them to think of living is like imagining a long hole with no end.

What do they have to wake up for tomorrow? More routine, more labor. Why should they even wake up? To get to the finishing line?

Bottomline : I wouldn't consider suicide myself, but other people's lives are other people's lives.

maybe for a minority of individuals. but what happens if you have no parents? or if you live miles away from them? or if they hate you? or if theyre crack addicted morons?
if youre at the point where youve decided that suicide is your only option, and that life isnt worth living, what could they possibly tell you that could change your mind? that they love you? that you'd be hurting them? suicide is the ultimate act of selfishness, so none of that would matter. and even so, the effort and courage it would take to work up the balls to confront their parents about this issue may not even be worth it in their minds.

They don't necessarily need to talk to their parents, they just need to talk to someone who gives a shit. Friends, family, teachers, doctors, mental health workers. If they're uncomfortable talking face to face, they can try a suicide prevention hotline.

That it gets better. That they love you, that people care.

It's not an act of selfishness, it's an act of desperation. The main cause of suicide isn't sadness or selfishness, it's an undiagnosed mental illness, which is a physiological illness which can be observed. They're sick, not selfish.

Many of the people who kill themselves think nobody cares about them. If you could imagine how much a few words would help, you would have. Because they do help, so much.

Everyone has contemplated suicide in one way or another, whether it be jumping off a bridge or wondering how life would be different for the people around you if you werent there. Humans have a natural tendency to question things and when people start to overthink, they break apart and crumble. I think that no matter the reason, suicide is not an option. The only way i see myself committing suicide is something along the lines of my whole family being slaughtered, me getting revenge on them and then once thats done i'd off myself rather than being a fugitive since we live to procreate and after a traumatizing event like that, procreation again is just not possible.
