My sister is getting engaged soon, so any plans I have for getting married are on hold because I am not about to compete with a dramatic princess. It's ok.

My parents are coming to visit next week and I'm really excited to see my mom even though I just saw her in August, twice in a year is rare lol.

I'm tired. That's life.

My first husband cheated on me, many times. I know for a fact at least two of the people he cheated with knew he was married and still hooked up with him. I personally think they are pieces of shit because they willingly contributed to the failure of my marriage. The other girls he deceived by saying he was single, I don't necessarily blame them, but I don't have any good feelings towards them. My ex on the other hand, a complete and utter piece of shit, the king of shits. 

(This was 10 years ago and I still hope he gets hit by a bus)

I think if you knowingly get involved with a married person, you're a piece of shit. If you're married and stepping out on your partner behind their back, you're a piece a shit. I don't care if you are straight, gay, or bi, I'll still think you're a piece of shit. End of story. 

My fiance has been holding a secret/surprise over my head for like a month and a half now. He sent me a random text at work a while ago saying "I need you to request the day off of work for June 29th." And I obliged and I've been asking ever since what the heck are we doing? I knew we were going somewhere for the weekend but that's it.
Well the time has come for me to be "in the know" and we are going freaking WHITE WATER RAFTING!!! I am so excited for this, I have never been but I have wanted to do this for a long time. We do a lot of river floats with small rapids but I'm always wanting more adrenaline.
We leave tomorrow to travel halfway across the state and check into the hotel then we'll be on our adventure most of the day Saturday. Even better is my brother and his girlfriend are joining us.

Stay tuned to find out if I die or not....

I've had low self esteem from as long as I've known what self esteem was. I can tell you that the route cause is likely due to my parents (primarily my mom) and that even though I know she loved me, I can't help but believe otherwise because how the final 10 years of her life went. 
 
So here I am today, thinking "is this fixable? if it is. how do I go about fixing it?" I don't think I'm necessarily depressed, but at the same time I do struggle with finding meaning to my life and catch myself saying "what do I bring to the table? Life goes on, whether you're there or not"
 
I know that I shouldn't base my self worth on other people's perception of me and that is a dangerous path to go down.
 
Probably should start speaking to a therapist
